So if we can go 20 matches and not dc do we win a prize?

People tend to go next with alarming frequency against M1 Stealth Killers… just play the game and learn how to handle stealth. It really isn't that hard.

Yes, you will no longer have to pay for haircuts because you may/will have ripped it all out :)

Honestly, I think some people don't realize how much burnout may also be the culprit. I've all but quit playing the game but when I do I find survivor can be very frustrating but still some what enjoy killer. I think my brother is the exact opposite and can play survivor for long periods without issue but gets irritated playing killer lol.

What are you even talking about? Survivors in a swf aren't going to leave their teammate on hook and you tend to have a slight chance to prevent tunneling and camping by being coordinated. (Feeling like you have a chance is what keeps people in games no matter swf or solo)

Going next is the only thing that allows players from leaving crappy teammates or from being sacrificial lamb just for 3 random people to escape. You keep talking about how a Solo q survivor going next is the bad behavior, but you don't even stop to think... "hey maybe there's a reason this person doesn't want to finish this match with selfish/bad teammates". I've gone next for a couple reasons. 1. No one working on gens 2. Poor play (dropping every pallet, not healing, running the killer into other players, not taking hits when needed etc…) 3. Survivors being toxic to the killer 4. If someone already dcd, went next or is throwing the match.

You assume every go next is someone rage quitting cause they got found or lost a mind game... when majority of them are because of actions by other Survivors or the killer.

Simply implementing a text chat or implementing text bubble like dbd mobile WILL positively impact the game and make it less miserable, this is not even a matter of opinion.

It would diminish the solo q factor and make games less miserable as it would make solo q stronger. Hud icons are not enough because survivors still need intuition which most do not have.

Like, you're focusing on hand picked examples instead thinking about the overall positive impact of i.e a text chat. smh

Actually it is opinions. As we've previously mentioned, yelling something isn't the same as people stop doing dumb things.
Side note, can you find us a video of people using the quick chat on mobile? All the ones we skimmed through never actually used it so we're unsure as to what it actually looks like.

because survivors still need intuition which most do not have.

... now we're not sure about how that sounds to you or others but to us that really sounds like it's the players problem…

We were not entirely sure what you meant by us focusing on hand picked examples (if we recall correct this was talking about communication in general).

There should be mandatory 2 command quick chats in soloQ on day one

    "Stop following me around"
    "Let go of shift please"

I've been playing solo queue for 3K hours, and I haven't DC'd or went next while there was any doubt about the outcome of a match since early 2020, probably.

Do I often feel like it? Absolutely. I'm sure everyone does sometimes. But so long as there are other people still in trying to win, I won't leave. It's impulse control. And because in recent times, the single thing that makes playing solo the most frustrating for me isn't anything the killers have or do, but my teammates leaving winnable games because they got butthurt. It didn't use to be this bad, but it has gotten out of hand.

At this point it's a bigger problem than the bad game design that people use to excuse it.

As a killer player, I don't even really care when people go next. No one is screwing killers or sending BHVR a message by going next all the time. It's mostly just screwing other survs. DBD is full of BS, and not wanting to subject yourself to it is totally fair. But don't go next, just don't queue up.

If go next prevention compels a few entitled "go next" addicts to stop playing altogether, matches will still go on and DBD will be better off.

And? You sound like you mainly play killer... why do I care about some random survivors? Most of them troll or leave you on hook? Also do you care if survivors have fun while your playing killer? If you don't than your just as bad as someone who "goes next". When did it become my duty as a solo q survivor to give everyone a chance at finishing the game. When you find out a solution to other issues in the game than maybe we can talk about going next screwing other players over.
