Kayako and Toshio spread their deadly curse, forcing Survivors into paranoia and desperation as they are haunted by inescapable manifestations.

Kayako’s Abilities

Ethereal Stalker (Phasing & Teleportation)
•Kayako can phase through walls, pallets, and windows, leaving behind cursed afterimages that flicker and distort reality.
•Every 40 seconds, she can teleport to any of her Cursed Hair traps, emerging with a loud croaking noise that makes nearby Survivors scream and gain 3 Curse stacks.

Cursed Hair (Map Control Traps)
•Press Secondary Ability Button to place Cursed Hair traps in key locations (windows, pallets, generators, hooks, doorways).
•Survivors who pass through the hair suffer Hindered (-6% movement speed for 6 sec) and gain 2 Curse stacks.

•After 60 seconds, hair traps spread, growing larger and harder to avoid.

•Kayako can teleport to any hair trap, crawling out of the shadows when she arrives.

Croaking Nightmare (Passive Hallucinations)

•Every 30 seconds, all Survivors hear Kayako’s croaking echoing from random directions.

•Survivors with 6+ Curse stacks experience visual distortions, seeing Kayako crawling toward them for a brief moment before she vanishes.

•Survivors with 9+ Curse stacks will occasionally see Toshio watching them in the distance, only for him to disappear when they blink.

Crawling Horror (Movement & Attack Buffs)

•Hold Ability Button to make Kayako drop to all fours and crawl unnaturally fast (4.8 m/s).

•While crawling, she can climb over obstacles like pallets, tables, and certain environmental structures.

•If Kayako crawls over a downed Survivor, she lets out a piercing croak, causing nearby Survivors to scream and gain 3 Curse stacks.

Toshio’s Abilities

Toshio’s Watchful Eyes (Passive Stalking)

•Toshio appears randomly around the map, watching Survivors from doorways, hallways, or rooftops.

•If a Survivor sees him and doesn’t look away, their screen distorts, their controls glitch for 2 sec, and they gain 2 Curse stacks.

•Toshio disappears after 5 seconds or if they turn away.

Toshio Haunting (Summon Ability)

•Kayako can send Toshio to “hide” inside a locker.

•If a Survivor opens the locker he’s in, Toshio lunges at them, screaming, causing them to drop any carried item, gain 4 Curse stacks, and suffer from Oblivious for 12 sec.

Toshio’s Curse (Hallucination Mechanic)

•Every 45 seconds, Toshio causes one Survivor to hallucinate seeing Kayako crawling toward them.

•If they panic and vault, drop a pallet, or fast-action anything, the illusion vanishes, but they gain 3 Curse stacks.

•If they stay still, the illusion slowly fades away after 6 seconds.
