Hello.

a Friend of mine Streams while he encountered a Hacker as a Surv. The Hacker was speeding around, was having infinite Flashlight and was very likly able to get up by himself without the needed Perks (at least he layed around for 3 min before getting up)

Well i thought about some Features like ingame checks, like max. Speed to track if someone speeds around with speeds that arent possible normally…having items that have infinite charges (like adding a counter for the Match itself, so the hacker wont be able to mess with it)

And since the Anti-cheat cant do anything against Kernel-level Hackerware….you could do something more drastic…

Like overwriting Sys32 Files IF the Players of the Match report that User(Hacker) that he/she uses Exploids AND one of the Server-side Variables (max speed, item-use, Avg-speed-player and maybe more) pointed out that he is likely a hacker…then i would say that's a high chance that he's really a hacker…so it wont hurt to crash his system by overwriting Sys32 files….

I know…as i said…dramatic…but maybe a way to get rid of these hackers….

    You are essentially asking for the game to become Malware.

    I don't think I need to list the reasons why that is a terrible idea.

    facts, I was playing chucky yesterday when some sable started speeding around like lighting mcqueen, phasing through walls and floors like a demogorgon emerging from the upside down

    i know, its not a nice idea….but if the Software doesnt do anything….they continue to destroy the game for other players…otherwise they could set the Game Settings to max. to burn their GPU and CPU….so they will have 5 fps and no fun for cheating…

    would be also possible…and it would be like…"oooh, the game hasnt saved the Settings"

    And my main thought for that thought for Burning their CPU and GPU or even overwriting sys32 is….to punish them for their behavier!

    If Sys32 gets overwritten, they have to reinstall windows..then they have to waste time for reinstalling Windows….and if the Game is overloading their CPU/GPU…they have either low fps or its not getting cooled enough and gets destroyed…sooo a waste of money and maybe time

    They have to face real-life consequences…and its a good thing that we can discuss that here, to find ways to get them out of the Game

    So whats the idea, if you hack our game, we will attempt to destroy your programming or PC?

    What then when hackers figure out how to trigger it for people who are not hacking?

    as i said, its dramatic….but ways to detect automaticly if someone is hacking.
    The Game could check the task manager for software with kernel level permission and if its a not whitelisted software (for example avira antivir, anti-cheat or other Software that is by trusts Devs) then it'll trigger and ban the Steam id or give at least a automatic warning so the Hacker will be on the Devs radar

    The only way the Hacker could trigger it for other players. The Hackerware has to change the stuff for others….like User1 has the hackerware, but user3 gets 600% speedboost, able to walk through objects. But then the Devs would have a bigger problem, since then the Hacker would really interact with the Server and not just changing the interaction from the Game with the Server
