Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Changes to Auric cells following new EU regulations?

So for anyone who doesn't know the EU recently announced some new regulations about virtual currencies in games.

The 2 things that I am aware of that relate to dead by daylight is that real money value of equivalent virtual currency must be displayed in addition tot he currency value when making purchases and that virtual currency should not be offered in amounts that require you to buy more than necessary to complete a transaction.

So for example, an outfit that costs 1080 auric cells must display next to that 1080 auric cell price tag the equivalent value of real money at it's worst exchange rate (the 500 auric cell pack value). Also currently you must buy 1600 auric cells (1100 pack + 500 pack) to buy a 1485 outfit, which may be disallowed under these regulations.

When can we expect changes to come to the game to be in compliance with this and will the changes becoming to EU countries only or will you be making the changes globally?

Going by previous instances of content being handled differently between countries, like some skins being unavailable to certain countries for example, or the time when some countries were simply not allowed to participate in the first (and only) official DBD tournament. It is likely that only players in the concerned areas will see those changes.
