Let us keep BP when the server crashes

It’s happened to me so often when playing killer or survivor when I get kicked from the match because “Dedicated server not responding” and I lose all my bp and xp earned from the match as long as my item/addons. The game knows I didn’t dc intentionally since I don’t get a dc penalty, so why does it remove all my progress from the match? It sucks wasting 7-10 mins in a match only for it to literally be worth nothing. Idk how or if the devs can fix this but I pray they find a way to soon.

How often the dedicated servers are crashing is becoming concerning and I think it needs to become a priority to fix. All the health patches in the world aren't going to make the game better for anyone if they can't ever play it. I play almost every day some amount and I swear it's been crashing at least once a day which is concerning and I can already tell how the anniversary is going to go. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Chapter 20: Resident Evil patch and that mess.

I have this happen by literally the game ending. The game will end whether i escape/die as a survivor or game ends as a killer. The moment the end game screen pops up it will just say that the server isnt responding and wont get anything

    I agree 💯

I hope they can fix this soon. I would love to at least be able to keep my bp. Hopefully 🙏🏼 their operation health fixes this.

NO. NEVER. NOT AGAIN NO. DISAGREE! ❌

The reason BP was taken away after a DC is because people abused the system. Back in the day people used DC'ing as a means of working the prestige. Once they took that away people abused DC'ing as a means to bail out of matches for various reasons. They didn't like killer, they didn't like the map, they didn't like specific team chars, they didn't like how someone played, they didn't like char account names.. the reasons people DC are endless but it screws the rest of the team over and throws the match. It even throws the match for killer as there's less achievements and points to earn when someone rage DC's. Imagine an entire team DC's after they find out who the killer is. This wastes the time for the player who chose killer. Now the person playing killer has to endure multiple match dc's over and over again. No one wants to play with that crud going on. Or you are playing solo while the rest of the team DC's leaving you alone with the killer and its only been 30 seconds into the match. (most killers don't care that someone dc'd, they will kill whoever is left) Killer's also rage DC when they can't catch someone in a chase or they feel players are gen rushing. A lot of killer's just don't know how to play and get salty and DC. Now imagine dc's happening at least every other match. That's how bad it was. The other way to resolve that was to implement bots in replace of DC'ers because it wasn't fair to the remaining players. However the bots need to be reworked as they are selfish and can sabotage the team. But in no means should BP's remain after anyone DC's it's a means to halt people from dc'ing at all. Too bad, fix your system, reload the game, join your friends lobby instead of using your lobby or vice versa. Whatever you need to do to fix it on your end, do it. Its your responsibility. But don't ever cry about BP's not remaining after you DC!!! 🤣

They don’t mean when someone rage quits. OP is talking about when the server crashes and kicks someone/everyone out of the game, negating their points and wasting their time.
