Steam cursor bug when using Xbox one series controller

The ps4 cursor bug seems to have moved to steam. Anytime I try using an Xbox controller to play on steam, once I am connected to a game the menu cursor stays on screen and I cannot move or interact at all. Additionally, if I do trying using mouse and keyboard, the circular dbd cursor stays on screen and follows the mouse, which is very distracting.

Load into game with xbox controller on steam, or try to use xbox controller to play.
