Can we please remove blinding zombies? It's pretty outdated for how unreliable they are.
Years ago BHVR removed flashlight interactions with almost every killer in the game - Hag's traps, burning Nurse and Wraith, removing Artist's crows. I happen to agree with the logic they gave at the time, which IIRC was that survivors should not have special counterplay for killer-specific powers just because they happened to bring a certain item.
The problem is, why is this still a thing for Nemesis? The zombies are half of his power and survivors can completely invalidate it with a simple item, in ways they can't with basically any other killer. People disagreeing with this sentiment often bring up that zombies are their own entities so it's not the same, and survivors need to have a counterplay to stop them. My counters to this:
1) Zombies are already incredibly unreliable as-is, and their usefulness in a match is almost entirely dictated by chance. They can clutch matches, but they also can often get stuck, lose survivors super easily, or meander in deadzones for extended periods of time. Having a survivor casually shrug off a significant part of the killer's power and pressure by waving a flashlight at it for a second is demoralizing for an already tenuous power.
2) This essentially punishes survivors who didn't bring a flashlight, and I don't think it's fair for survivor counterplay to depend on if you just so happened to bring a certain item for a certain killer. Power counterplay should be available to all survivors regardless of the build.
3) The Resident Evil series is all about resource management to begin with - forcing survivors to drop pallets to kill zombies is a thematically appropriate counterplay and any survivor can do it. The zombie counterplay should focus more on this and less on item interactions.
My proposal - remove the ability to blind zombies entirely, and increase the time zombies stay dead when they've been killed by a pallet to compensate and keep them fair for survivors. The respawn time for pallet-ing zombies is 45 seconds right now - I think 50-60 seconds in a situation like this would probably be reasonable.
I personally would just prefer zombies were reworked as a whole as I've never liked them. But that's probably never happening, so the next best thing is a design choice to stop kicking these unreliable things while they're already down.

I do not think that is a good change if it isn't broken don't fix it.
I don't think that increasing the time for a zombie's respawn rate from pallets would help at all as dropping pallets will alert the killer which the whole point of wanting to blind a zombie is either not to get hit or not showing where your location is to the killer. you won't always be around a pallet to prevent a zombie from walking towards you, Wasting a pallet for a zombie's spawn rate decrease is not a worthy trade, and dead zones. and this isn't the only time items brought to the game counter plays a killer's power as there are many interactions such as legion, nurse and, if we are counting alien and, Singularity there is that as well
Nemesis already has pallet counterplay and forcing anyone to drop a pallet for anything is a rather terrible counter play for any killer outside of chase as that give even more free-way for the killer to just get rid of every pallet on the map and logically zombies have retinas too you know it's not like they sense you and slap you so its only logical it can be blinded
and if your only other idea of counter play is a bug "zombies get stuck" then the idea as a whole isn't going to work out as a bug is something out of the survivors control.-1 -
No nothing more annoying when christine or christopher is forcing you to move off an important gen your trying to get rid of and given nemesis the oh hey they are info. Its annoying having to play escort as well as waste pallets to counter them.
Idc what people say but nemesis is far more annoying than wesker in every way. With a wesker its just him and his big 40 terror radius, no worries about being gen interupt unless he is coming vs the damn zombies.
Aint nothing more lame than trying to loop and out of no where get hit by zombies specially indoor maps given him easy downs with his undeserved 6.5 hit box.

This all still doesn't address the fundamental point that survivors should not be given special counterplay for a killer just because they brought a specific item - it's not really fair to the killer when this takes up a significant part of their power, or to survivors who didn't bring a flashlight. This is more just an argument to rework zombies as a whole, which I wish they'd do but they probably won't. The next best thing, then, is a simple step in the right direction by leveling the playing field so that all survivors can counter the killer's power equally.
Not always being around a pallet to counter the power though, that's, like… the point. Survivors should not be able to counter your power just by holding the flashlight button for a second no matter where they are. The zombies are supposed to give value by interrupting survivors, and this already is completely up to RNG if it happens or not. Flashlights completely invalidate them on the rare occasion they actually do something useful.
This argument feels like it stems from just being personally annoyed by the zombies and wanting them to not bother you throughout the match, rather than wanting them to be in a healthier place from a game design perspective.

I'd rather keep the blind but make the zombies much better based off infection. They're so embarrassingly bad right now. Their speed and detection range should scale based off the number of survivors infected. They need to be way more reliable in pressuring gens. Nemesis's focus should've been on multitasking with the zombies, not his tentacle, which is just another hit over pallet x15 that we have on tons of killers, it's not unique, the zombies are.

You know the same reasons it got removed from Wraith, should be the same it gets removed from Nemesis.
It makes perfect sense.
