Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

New Killer is too OP

I feel like this killer is way too OP for several reasons and I don't mind the jumping around maps issue it's the other issues that pile on top of it that make him way too over powered

For example he can grab you through walls, solid objects and even over pallets to leave a blood mark, what's the point of even playing survivor then? There's literally no way to escape him it's impossible to loop and unless you successfully pallet stun him which has a really low success rate there's virtually nothing you can do, now you're forced to 3 man gens or get wiped near instantly, the only success I've seen is if the killer opts to purposely not mark a survivor or is generally a really bad or new player.

Another issue is that he can grab you from a mile away to blood mark you, like I have many times where this has happened but these two stand out to me, I was running literally at a distance where literally no other killer could hit me except maybe the spirit, he launches his blood mark attack I watch him at least 30m away instantly teleport to me and mark me, how am I suppose to dodge this?

This same game I was just unhooked, I ran to the open exit gate literally right next to me as I'm just about to leave literally less than a second away from escape whilst he's hooking a team mate, he flies over to the front of the door, he teleports from way beyond the exit gate doors, blood marks me which blocks the exit and I lose the game.

I'm with the others on this, how are survivors even suppose to have fun anymore? Because as a survivor I'm having next to zero fun trying to deal with this, I can't out run him the second I hear him either because he just flies across 60m of space then marks me then tunnels me till I'm down and hooked and proceeds to the next player.

If he wasn't able to hit over pallets, through walls and solid objects or had like a 10 second cooldown on blood marking after jumping across the map I don't think his distance management would be a problem but the way it is now he can just fly to you and mark you from behind a pallet or through solid objects which has happened repeatedly making the game objectively unbalanced for survivors, I don't even see how this got passed beta testing especially if it's labeled as a major bug which it feels more like a feature than a bug.

I don't know if this was a bug or just luck, but this may help someone.

I found if you get marked at the exit gates and its blocked, stand next to it facing out, and when he hits you you'll fall right out the gate, just like if you were letting the killer hit you out. It won't be blocked as you're going down. Discovered that by accident last night and got a pretty cheeky escape when he thought he had me.

This killer is not fun to play against.

He is and the fact that the incompetent fools released him in this state, to the detriment of other killer players and survivors as a whole is a testament to frankly how out of touch the developers are with their own game.

To give them the benefit of the doubt maybe it is just a bug but whatever, I'd rather deal with this than the full on hackers ruining games, either way I'm not looking to be in a bad mood so I uninstalled anyway, it is what it is.

Well, you gave some reasoning at least, but I still don't agree. I can't imagine you've played the killer yourself, just what I'm reading between the lines. Kaneki really isn't that strong against decent survivors.

His initial injuring of you is gonna be no different than if you went against Legion, and we don't call Legion OP, except for people who give him max value on his power by all healing to full over and over. His special attack isn't supposed to be easy to dodge. It's supposed to be fast, because if it wasn't, there'd be no point in using it to injure, and it would massively impact his mobility with his dashes.

Him hitting you through walls is a bug or desynch or something, but that's obviously going to be fixed. You can't factor that into a killer's power level. Unless the devs allow hitting over objects with it, similar to Nemesis' tentacle, that's the only form hitting you through walls that's gonna stay in the game.

His mobility with his dashes is supposed to counter shift W/holding forward, because you can do that against almost every killer in the game and they won't have any counterplay to it. Because it's never you just holding forward to the corner of the map; you're holding forward until you reach a strong loop or building, and then start looping all over again. His ability to slide over pallets with a quick recovery is power creep on Wesker's slide-over, and it creates mindgames at loops which you have to read him at, but that doesn't make him impossible to loop. You have to learn the limit of what the killer player can actually do, which is best done by watching gameplay of the killer POV or playing them yourself.

Your proposed changes would destroy this killer, to where nobody would want to play as him. 10 seconds before being able to use his power for injuring, even though his 2 rush tokens are ready? That would feel so limiting and janky to what he can do. Or him having less distance per rush so that he can't fly "across the map in seconds"? They tried doing this with Hillbilly and Wesker, to where the distance you lose from the miss cooldown where you're moving extremely slow, whereas the survivor is still going full speed, you might as well have ran at them as a basic 115% M1 killer. Same with Pig's crouch/dash attack, or Dredge with his locker TPs. Nobody likes playing a killer whose ability gives more risk and downside for missing than just M1ing all match, because then they're either dealing with that downside or they're too scared to use it and are forced to M1. Lose-lose.

That is a blatant lie and you know it, that heap of trash killer is the most annoying thing to face, and it's only been 3 DAYS. He's incredibly strong and that's coming from a person who just got out of 10 Matches of Tokyo Mid Hell.

His lunges give him too much reach and NOT enough slowdown/recoil to actually ALLOW survivors to make some, if not any form of distance. (Like how it's SUPPOSED TO BE WITH THE LEGION & BLIGHT.) His lunges and grabs are faster and wider than Deathslinger's harpoon, so it's unviable to dodge him and not to mention; WITH those same lunges, he can flick and whip around corners to prevent you from getting to vaults and pallets, effectively body blocking you and guaranteeing a hit because he's in the path you were GOING to take. (Which isn't that hard to do.)

"His power only allows him to put you in deep wound" doesn't matter when he can launch himself across the map like a blight and flick himself around corners like spiderman; Not to mention his ability to leap over Vaults and Pallets with his power like wesker.

It's like they took the powers of Legion, Blight and Wesker and collaged it all into one and said "Yeah, This'll do.".

While 10 seconds IS absurd, he needs way more cooldowns and recoil than people are actually willing to admit just for a chance at another OP Killer.
