The Ghoul's basekit is perfectly balanced but that means some addons are OP. Replace these!
I really feel like this killer is almost perfect in both execution and balance. I do, however, have some thoughts on their addons. Any effect that has gameplay benefits the level of a perk should be scrapped such as the iri mask. This addon paired with surge, infectious fright, and bamboozle makes for a nasty build with little counterplay. I could elaborate on why this is the case but I don't think anyone would want to read just how many reasons I have for this.
More importantly than that, I think their cool down addons send them over the edge and I haven't seen anyone playing them not use at least one cool down addon. The yellow broken chain with the iri addon allows the gameplay from above to snowball quickly by making it impossible to heal against the ghoul (whether or not this is normally the play to do). Following this, if they don't heal, the mobility of the ghoul allows a very slug heavy playstyle to punish them not going for heals and snowball pressure. If they somehow heal, one new kagune mark and one hook allows you to start over by going around stacking injures to start again.
Please don't get me wrong, I love this killer and this is the most fun with a killer at launch I have ever had but some of these games I am winning feel like I am being given the win due to the build I mentioned before. I know people will chime in and say I should just take this build off and stop playing in this way that works but I don't think that is the right way to handle this. This playstyle needs stopped in its tracks by removing the iri addon and cooldown effects ASAP as it shouldn't be an option to begin with!
