Ghoul nerf that doesn't slaughter him

First change) Instead of toning down the auto aim for the grab attack, make the grab attack close range only. This makes it so instead of a skill shot in the traditional sense it's more like a slightly easier version of your second hit, you must land close to the survivor then grab attack them. The skill is in the movement and positioning rather than the aim. Making it close range means it's still easy for console players to aim the attack, but there's still a skillful element to putting yourself in a position to perform the attack in the first place.

This also has the benefit that since the attack doesn't have travel time for the ghoul jumping anymore you no longer need to freeze the survivors movement and make them stand still during the attack. The attack cooldown should probably be adjusted to compensate for this so the ghoul doesn't spend 3000 years standing there while the survivor runs away.

Make it so grab attacking is on a different button than grabbing the environment. Ie right click to perform a grab attack and left click to perform a leap. This is to give greater control to the ghoul so they don't perform grab attacks when they don't want to.

Second change) remove deep wound from grab attacks. Instead of enarage mode lasting 45 seconds after a kagune mark disappears it Instead lasts for as long as there is a kagune mark. Kagune marks last 45 or 60 seconds upon performing a grab attack.

Easily applying deep wound makes it too easy to circumvent endurance effects and also provides a ton of extra pressure to a killer who already excels at spreading pressure and is unnecessary. The current implementation of enrage mechanics also makes it far too easy to stay enraged the entire match. Most matches once I am enraged and don't lose it again until 1 or more survivors are dead and the match is already basically over.

Possible but maybe not necessary third change) Put the ghouls power on cooldown for a short time after breaking a pallet, like 3 or 4 seconds while enraged and 5 or 6 while not enraged. This gives survivor a few seconds to go to the next loop after the ghoul kicks a pallet. May not be necessary with the previous changes though.

Fourth change, only necessary if ghoul is still capable of hindering survivors while vaulting windows/pallet), slow down enrage vault speed.

I'm of the opinion the two needed changes for The Ghoul are to

    A) remove the stun a survivor receives when getting hit by the tentacles, and

    B) reduce the range the tentacles can attack a survivor

That's it. That's all he really needs to make him feel fair. Keep the range his tentacles can reach for mobility, keep the speed he can move, keep the power cancel. Just cut the tentacle attack range by half and remove the survivor stun mechanic.

Honestly if his tentacles (power) didnt hit from behind the wall or when you drop down an entire floor from a window vault and STILL get hit, he would be fine. His power has worse hitboxes then huntress and it makes it very unfun to deal with. Bro wont even be on screen because there is a wall there and yet i still take damage or deal damage

Half the reason it's terrible is because the attack is hit scan but with a delay from him jumping onto you before the attack goes through, but If the attacks were limited to close range, there might be some issues with the attack that need fixing, but most of the bad hits would disappear since that delay would be gone.

In my opinion they should only make it damage survivors if he gets clean hit where the survivor is totally or mostly visible to him. and over windows and pallets as it currently can. It should not work over objects in my opinion as survivor is not totally visible to give survivors something to prevent the first hit.
