Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

MY (MY) My experience with blood gens (Killer and soloQ surv)

I really tried to like it because it's a different way to progress the game, but I just can't

As non mobility killers you legit can't do anything about it, survivors can finish them so quickly before you can even do anything about it, and allowing gen regression on them wouldn't fix anything because there's nothing to regress, 20% (pain res) of a blood gen is absolutely NOTHING, it takes like a millisecond to repair 20% of one, and the time it takes to fill them up, literally half the killers can't even react

And against high mobility killers it's just not worth it unless you're grouping up with other survivors to quickly eat one of those gens out in half a second (because 3 different survivors can fill up their gallons on the same spot), but if you're alone, walking on the open is not as safe as just progressing a simple generator because against killers like: blight, ghoul, hillbilly etc you HAVE to be next to a loop, otherwise you Die

I personally think you guys need to work on a different usage to these mechanics, but as a main objective they're just insane

I like the concept of blood gens, the problem is there's no equivalent balancing mechanic to help them feel fair for non mobility Killers. It really feels like you just get the shaft if you play someone like Ghostface or Legion. And it feels extra crappy for Killers that have gen use as part of their power, like Pig and Freddy. It just feels like unless you play a mobility Killer you cannot do much in this mode, and that isn't any fun.

Heard trapping Killers are doing alright, though.
