Please change your mind on the event offerings.
I have a deep feeling in my gut that event offerings suck now because someone complained about lobby dodging. Yes, it is a problem. Yes, something has to be done about it. But I do not think that making event offerings work for one person only is the solution.
What if we go back to having multitarget event offerings, and you instead made them all hidden? That way, players will not lobby dodge quite as often.
Almost. Every. Single. Offering. Sucks. Outside. SWF. There. I said it. Nobody cares about those fog bottles. The luck mechanic is only exploited by rare SWFs in the wild. Half the BP increase offerings belong in the trash. The spawn offerings don’t matter now that everyone spawns together. Maps were nerfed, and rightfully so.
So what’s left? BPS and envelopes? Not really variety.
The only ones that matter, and should be shown, are the ones that control where the hatch or basement spawn. Every other offering should be hidden, and hopefully a conversation is happening behind the scenes to fully get rid of that part of the game. It is anticlimactic. Most streamers do not pay attention and instead check for offerings at the end of every match in the menu. This behavior has passed on to me as a player.
Maybe the issue is less about event offerings and more the fact there is a DC-free barrier that allows an early exit. Players should queue into games, not judge/evaluate whether or not this is the right lobby for them. Event offerings disable at the end of the event anyway. I’m not allowed to take it with me outside April. Why not actually have fun with them, then?

The event offerings are pretty much outright worse than just playing a BPS/anniversary cake/pudding/escape cake. The event offering only grants bonus BP to event scores. Those offerings give BP to ALL scores including event scores.
