Failure of spearing of survivours after further testing most likely not a "ping issue"
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I already did a report on this, yes, at that report I was told that the failure of spearing survivors as Deathslinger, in which the sound an animation plays but the survivors just keep on running, was a Ping Issue. I was a bit frustrated but believed it and went on with my life, but in the last days it has annoyed me so much that I decided to test it further. In 5 concecutive Matches as Slinger I had the problem, but only once with the player with the worst ping, who for some reason was always the only one I could almost always Spear. Further in 3 out of the 5 games it was exactly 1 player in the whole match that couldnt be speared, while I was able to spear everyone else flawlessly even in lag spikes. 2 times in a row that player was the one with 2nd best, and one time the 1 with the best ping. Twice it was Ada Wong while once it was Kate Denson. Those survivors I hit a total of 24 times (divided: 9; 5; 11 in order of match) and never had them on spear once. Also my Ping may not be the best but I never had issues with 80/90 Ping before the Update while now I have 50/60 Ping. The facts that I have better Ping and rarely have this Issue with the survivor with the highest Ping gives me Reason to believe that this issue is not a "Ping issue" and even if it is it definitly has something to do with the latest update but if youre able to give a plausable explanation to why that is not the cause, I am more than happy to accept. I also am sorry if this is annyoing but please understand that hitting a survior 11 times without it working only for that survivor to laugh at you in endgame chat although all you wrote was "ggs" is very frustrating.
