Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I am once again asking for Event Offerings to be shared across Characters.

Dear BHVR. Once again its Event time and once again I am leveling other characters which I am not into today, and I AM FORCED to spend my bloodpoints on the mains, when I want to level up others. To get a good supply of Event Offerings.

Please please please, soon you MUST develop the technology to share a specific item, across a players account?

Thank you!

This is indeed one factor of events I always hate; the Bloodweb getting filled with event offerings and items that I'm never going to use on THAT character in particular. I need to level The Ghoul right now, because he's under P3 and I want his Perks on my other characters but because so many other people are playing The Ghoul at the moment I'm NOT going to play him myself so all these event Offerings will be wasted.

There is already code in place to "fade out" item add-ons that don't match the item a Survivor has equipped, moving that over to Killer add-ons shouldn't be too hard. Just merge all character inventories together on both sides so it doesn't matter who we're leveling we'll be able to use Offerings and generic add-ons on everyone.

I really wish we could do that tbh, I don't understand why we can't.

Well, assuming that BHVR wants to give us this and they dont have any balance issues with it there is that they could need to make changes to the inventory management code.

Right now it seems the code is set up to distribute items into a bucket for each character, to enable the system we desire. They need a way to flag an item to be in a shared bucket and then when you load items for a Killer, it checks the Killer's bucket and the share bucket and displays those numbers.

I think BHVR wants this too, they just need an open moment that don't get filled up by another problem.
