Initialization error connecting to Steam on PS5

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: when starting up the game, it will do one of two things.

  1. I can connect join a game and play till I get to the end game lobby and score screen. When returning to the lobby. I will get non stop network disconnected errors and will lose connection to dbd. Trying to reconnect I get a steam connection error but I’m playing on PS5.
  2. I try to connect to dbd after booting the game, but will get multiple network disconnects and error message saying can’t connect to steam.

This only happens on DBD, my other games work fine. pc, phone, are all on the same network and I have no network issues

PLATFORM: PS5

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

Select the game > start the game > press “X” to continue once the prompt shows on screen = at this point error happens

    Me too >:( i finally decided to get back in after years and was so keen to spend even more bloody money on all the skins and new characters but i cant even get to the main menu

    I swear ive gotten every single error code!

    Im so upset

    And like im not just gonna reinstall

    I run off a hotspot and im.not spending another week doing it a few hours at a time its crazy

    same issue reinstall doesn’t work if I get into game in 10 attempts I m luckiest person on planet earth…


    it’s rlly annoying and happening for a long time and main issue I did not finished rift pass and event tomes:/
