Hound-master could use some touch ups.

I know you did a large amount of bug fixes after her ptb release, however there are aspects that still feel extremely clunky when playing her.

SUMMARY:

-Chase hit boxes are strict, but do not allow refined control to counteract the need for precision and planning.

-Search power requires far away generators to go long distances, cannot efficiently travel otherwise.

-Choosing between generators or aiming on the ground is slow and UN-intuitive, making it difficult to efficiently use the power for traversal or information.

The Chase part of the power is mostly fine, however it is often difficult to aim requiring a level of precision and foresight similar to Artist's crows. This is more inconvenient since Hound master's chase ability does not remain where it was during the initial casting, making it even harder to prepare for using it ahead of time. The ability to aim left and right helps, along with the second chase, but with how strict the requirement for the hit box there are many cases where you lack the control to properly box in or catch a survivor.

The Search mechanic of hound-master is it's worst offender. Search doesn't go NEARLY as far when directing the dog alone, as opposed to sending it for a generator or exit gate. This puts extra emphasis on how most of the kit is designed around her going long distances, yet being unable to efficiently target an area not nearby.

Creating two options for search could smooth over this aspect, and give the player greater control or agency over how they play.

The first option could be dedicated to traversing important objectives and anything that has an aura applied to it (allowing you to also go towards totems and event specific generators). This would prevent the killer from being forced to wait for the power to reach a certain point before they are even able to attempt aiming at a target, only to then struggle with making the ability lock on properly. Rather than targeting an area on the ground before eventually locking on to an object, it only targets an object in your point of view based on its aura and creates a path towards the location however possible.

The second option could allow the killer to have fine control for using search in any area that isn't directly important, such as around shack or a pallet. This option could give you the secondary ability to alter how far away the land you can target will be. For example, you could use the scroll wheel to push and pull how far the point you are aiming at is relative to you- and have your mouse direction indicate WHERE/WHICH DIRECTION at that distance the dog should go. This would also make it easier to aim at specific distances.

With those changes, you will spend less time trying to make the power behave in the desired manner while also gaining more flexible control overall.
