In lobby swapping
What is preventing Killers from being able (while in a pre-game lobby looking at a group of survivors) swapping from one Killer to the other? Survivors can change out who theyre playing once theyre in the pre-game - are we stuck behind some kind of programming wall we haven't figured out yet? Genuinely curious here.

Survivors are just skins and they all play the same, but killers can be completely different and thus have a different matchmaking rating. So when you are readying up for a Match your current killers matchmaking Rating is being used and it would be abusable if you can Switch Killer After that

You actually did use to be able to switch killers in the lobby back in the day.
They removed the ability to do that around when MMR came out to prevent people from abusing the new matchmaking system. I.e.
- Readying up with a killer they don't play which has a low MMR.
- Getting matched with weak survivors based on that low MMR.
- Switching to their main killer in the lobby and stomping the survivors who are way below the killer's true skill level.

Cause killers shouldnt be able to change their killer just by looking at the lobby. Its already unfair enough that theyre able to take a look at their opponents and change their loadout accordingly, while survivors are stuck with no information at all.
