Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Potential issue with abandon feature

Hello! Today I was playing a match where I was intentionally bled out by the killer while playing as survivor. It happened during endgame when I was the only survivor remaining in the trial. Due to the situation described, it would be normal for the recently added "abandon" feature to activate. However, it did not.

Therefore, my question is: is this intentional because i can escape through the exit gates by crawling or something like that? If this is an intentional case, I would very much appreciate if this could be reconsidered, and if it is not intentional, if it could be corrected.

Thank you!

I should add more specification on the situation: endgame started and the other survivors left or were killed while I was still in the match, and I was downed while endgame was about a quarter through, then I was bled out.

Yeah, the Abandon option has a habit of inconveniently disappearing. I've noticed it disappear on my friend's screen (I don't mean spectating, I mean looking at their physical screen) when the killer begins to mori them even though my friend was the last one left in the trial.
