If I have both Nintendo Switch AC and Rift Pass's Auric Cells. Which one will be used first?

Hi! I searched in the FAQ page for the crossprogression stuff and also submited a ticket and didn't get any answer, So I guess I'll have to resort here, the thing is that... I have around 300 Auric Cells on my Nintendo switch account. 150 AC are platform specific (I bought them on switch and did't got to use them) and the other 150 AC are auric cells that I never used from a rift pass.

The thing is, I want to use the Nintendo Switch Auric Cells FIRST so I don't need to have any more currency in that account. For that, I bought the rift pass on another platform and got 1000 AC, meaning that nowΒ in my NS account I have the 300 AC + the rift pass AC = 1300 in total.

My question is... I buy any cosmetic from the store, which auric cells will be used first? The platform specific ones (Switch) or the general rift pass Auric cells? My intention is to use the 150 AC on the Nintendo Switch first + the other ones so I don't get 150 AC locked on switch.

Did I explain myself? πŸ˜…

Well, I can tell you what I've experienced myself as a Switch player.

I had something like 3k Auric Cells on Switch. I used cross-progression with my PS4, where there were no Auric Cells. After I reached the end of a Rift, I used 1k Auric Cells from the Switch to buy the Rift pass, and then I had 1k Auric Cells available to use on my PS4. Next Rift, after I got to the end of the Rift, I again bought the Rift pass using my Switch, and now I have 2k Auric Cells available to use on my PS4.

So, at least when buying the Rift pass, it has specifically used my Switch Auric Cells over using general pool Auric Cells.

From my experience, you can only spend cells you bought on Nintendo Switch on Nintendo Switch purchases in the in game store. But if you have any spare cells on Switch left over and you also have cells that you bought on another platform, those other platform cells will appear when you log into your Switch (but you will never see your Nintendo cells on any other platform, as you probably already know).

I was able to afford the Iron Maiden shirt for my Sable this way because I had 240 cells on my Steam account and 10 cells left on my Switch. So when I logged into my Switch account, I had enough combined to afford the shirt that I couldn't buy on Steam. I don't know if that helps you at all. But I've been able to completely clear out my Nintendo account of all the cells that are locked over there in this way.

Thank you guys for your perspective. In my case, I was really excited to buy stuff and waste the Auric cells left that I had on Switch, so basically I just went with it without seeing the responses and bought stuff on the Switch and to my surprise, yes, Switch's Auric cells are used before the cells that you get from the rift. That's a happy ending for me tbh haha
