My thoughts on the recent haste and hindrance stacking

I am upset they chose to go ahead and decide on removing this feature in the game. There are quarks and special things about this game that gives it charm and one of those being the haste and hindrance stacking. This allowed players to express creative builds that were fun for both survivors and killers in speeding around the map with certain builds that weren’t that overpowered and often required certain actions to be done in order to achieve those effects. I feel as dbd is slowly losing its charm as the game ages and the devs are taking away some of the fun aspects of game due to trying to appeal to the new players, which the idea of isn’t my problem; it’s how’s they’re going at it. Removing features from your game or changing an element of the game to try and dumb it down for newer players isn’t really a good thing in my eyes. New players aren’t idiots and know how to read, and the internet exists for a reason, removing or changing features to “try and help them out” isn’t really the move here in my opinion; as I don’t have much faith in the fact BHVR is going to “buff” these perks accordingly when they typically undersell the idea that it’s going to be better in the long run, I know trial and error is part of it but it isn’t broken don’t fix it. The casual fan base isn’t full of idiots, people know how to play games, having to dumb down a feature such as haste/ hindrance stacking doesn’t fix the game, it complicates it.
