Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Blood Moon Suggestion for 2026

As much as I love the new Blood Moon event, it's actually harder to earn Blood Moon score events this year than it was last year. Obviously, it's too late to make changes now but it would be neat if it was altered for next year's Blood Moon.

SUGGESTION:

-Add last year's Blood Moon event in addition to the Blood Moon generators (bringing back blood droplets and blood basins for both killer and survivors to interact with)

-Filling a blood basin will give DOUBLE bloodpoints to any action occurring within the blood zone

-Increase the size of the blood zone to 24 meters

-Filling up a blood gen gives bloodpoints based on how much blood you put in it, kicking blood gens gives bloodpoints based on how much blood is in the gen

-Finishing a blood generator will give bloodpoints to ALL survivors who poured any amount of blood in it (currently it only gives bloodpoints to the survivor(s) who finish the gen)

-Blood gens should take 4 full cans to complete

-NEW KILLER INTERACTION: Killers can now destroy one blood pump every 30s by kicking it. This will cause a new blood pump to respawn in a different location.

-NEW KILLER INTERACTION: Survivors now drop blood cans when hit, giving the killer a chance to kick it (something i thought we were getting this event)

The Blood Moon event should allow ALL players to have ways to trigger Blood Moon Score Events. This year was pretty lacking for killer side with survivor getting the most event related interactions.

Since the normal game is pretty stingy with bloodpoints, doubling bloodpoint gains in blood zones would be an excellent way for people to play (or try) both sides.

Don't be afraid to gives us bloodpoints! There are so many survivors and killers in the game which makes it difficult to level them up (with new players struggling the most). This is supposed to be the biggest bloodpoint event of the year ;)
