Mirrored Illusion: How to improve it?

Mirrored illusion is one of the more unique perks of DBD, I'd love to get more value from it, I feel a lot of the time it's too obvious and I also think it among other perks should get unique BP scoring events (because they are essentially survivors versions of killers abilities), something there isn't enough of, this goes for the Lute perk too.

It feels a bit lacking but I don't know what to suggest, I was wondering if anyone here maybe had some ideas to discuss on how to make it more fun? Maybe it could hinder a killer like chem trap if they run through it, this would feed into its time wasting niche more.

This game needs mroe interactivity between killer and survivor, and perks like this are the perfect opportunnity to expand upon it.

    Don't make it do the shimmer effect unless you're literally touching it, make it indinstinguishable from a survivor including repair sounds/cleansing sounds if a killer hits it it explodes in a flash of light, blinds them, and applies a major hinder for like 2 or 3 seconds similar to singularity when you hit him with a pallet while hes overclocked,

    edit: maybe give survivor the ability to put it on an interaction from much further away, like maybe just by looking at the object you want to put it on and pressing secondary ability while crouching.

    I'd love for any of these, I loved seeing the mindgames people would do using calm spirit and iron will with totems and chests.

    maybe it could make your interactions silent while it is active until it is dispelled?

    I'd like if it could be done with lockers aswell like if the killer reaches x distance of that Locker with the illusion it plays the animation of the survivor slowly entering.

    Another is to have more charges, like a token system of maybe 2? So you could have one out while charging another (believe this was a bug when it first came out), this could also lead to if all gens are completed gain a token so you could make plays of the illusion on an exit gate.

    Besides all that it's just the basic make if more life like, actually doing the animations and not just a still frame, making sounds of whatever it has been placed on.

    The glowly effect is actually kind of useful. You can hide in them and the killer often thinks you're just a fake, ha.

    it would be if the killer couldn't just face check it and rid of it like it was nothing. Now killers are experienced enough to know

    • It should have tokens, so you can activate multiple illusions at the same time.
    • Timer after which it deactivates removed.
    • They could make illusions work like bots, which means you place them, they act like they loop , repair and run around. Would be funny.
    • The illusions make sounds to be more convincing.
    • The glowing effect lesend or removed.
