Feedback on The Ghoul after the nerf

Hello, I've been playing Kaneki after he was nerfed in the latest patch and I wanted to share my opinion on his current state:

  • The nerf to his range is mostly fine… when playing with the range addon. I was worried that this nerf would make him unfun to play, since his mobility is what makes him so fun; but I've found that when the range addon is used he feels mostly fine. I still think the nerf was a bit too much though, increasing the basekit range by 1 meter should be fine and make him feel a bit better to play.
  • The changes to the 'auto-aim' are great. Before the patch many times I would grab onto a survivor and hit them through obstacles or trigger a grab when it felt like I should have missed. These hits felt wrong and undeserved when playing as Kaneki and they felt terrible and unfair when playing as survivor; I think this change is very good.
  • Getting a cooldown after a pallet break feels terrible. I can't say whether this change is actually a significant nerf or not, but what I can say is that it feels terrible to get a cooldown just after being being done with the pallet break animation. I think this change should be reverted, or at least the token should only be lost if you're in chase while you break the pallet.
  • Unavoidable hits after a pallet vault (while grabbing a survivor) are still a thing. I was quite surprised that this issue remains unaddressed, since these hits have no counterplay and whether they're possible or not only depends on the loop. What's more, since Kaneki's power now goes on cooldown after breaking a pallet, going for this kind of hits is now encouraged by the game. I think this issue should definitely be addressed, either by nerfing the vault speed slightly or increasing the cooldown just after vaulting
  • Another thing that I expected to see changed was the interaction between window vaults while leaping and Bamboozle. Right now, when Kaneki vaults a window while leaping Bamboozle will block the window. However, if I'm not mistaken Legion and Wesker were changed so that this wouldn't happen when they vaulted a window while using their respective powers. I guess that Kaneki can apply the effect due to an oversight?
  • Please, don't change the voice lines. I've seen quite a few people asking for The Ghoul to have his voice lines removed or heavily limited in use while in game or even while in the main menu because "it's too loud and it's hurting my ears", "it's annoying" or "it makes footsteps hard to hear". The audio as it is right now is authentic to the character and it isn't louder than survivor screams or many other audio effects in the game, so I imagine that if anyone is having their ears hurt due to it there must be many other sounds within the game that are having the same effect, and the actual solution would be for them to lower the volume of their headphones/speakers down to a comfortable level. Please don't compromise on the artistic vision behind this character.
