BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF BUG

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Friends till the End not working even though it was active. I was Playing as Vecna on Shelter Woods and was using the perk. When I hooked Nancy it activated, exposing Nea. When I hit her with the perk active however, she didn't go into the dying state, but instead was injured. It could have been a network issue on my end, but a couple matches before this happened while I was playing as The Ghoul, Friends till the End worked just fine.

PLATFORM: PC

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: I hooked Nancy, which triggered Friends till the End and then flew over to Nea, who was close by. Then when I hit her, she didn't get downed, even though Friends still had roughly 10 seconds of exposed left.

Just speculation but did she had Vigil or someone else have it as it does effect exposed status effect that is caused by Friends 'til the End and that would make it last only about 12 seconds when using Tier III perk. So thats 2 seconds after you lose the aura reading on the survivor and to me its quite close to when you hit her that most likely the exposed just ran out before you landed the hit.

Just looked back, both her and Nancy did have Vigil. I didn't know it reduces all status effects, thought it only effected exhausted. Thanks for pointing that out, probably look like an idiot now…

Nah you don't. I have got that kind of thing happen to me too and there is so many perks, add-ons and powers that change things in this game that is hard to keep track on all of them. Its good that you reported something that to you looked like a bug but at least now you know to check if they have Vigil if you run into same kind of situation.
