Bloodmoon Feedback

I just wanted to give my feedback on the Bloodmoon trailer and the event in general.
The trailer:
WOOOOOOW… When I watched the trailer it gave me full body chills. From the opening camera angle to zooming in on the Garden of Joy House (my favorite stage) it was so surreal. I felt like I was having an out of body experience, like I was levitating out of my body with chills. It was amazing. It literally (seriously!) took my breath away several times.
The whole scene with Trapper mori’ing the Survivor seeing just his silhouette was pure romantic sadism. From seeing Trapper’s breath in the darkness to seeing Vittorio’s face both with the red tint and the music in the background was one of those breathtaking moments for me.
When Taurie is running in Eyrie the juxaposition of her red hair against the backdrop of the stage was highly satisfying for me. Then when she’s in the darkness posing upwards to the sky as it fades into the blood… I can’t describe the feeling- I felt weightless. And then having the Artist looking at her with the camera zooming into the eye… I felt so overwhelmed with existential terror. “Be still my beating heart!”
You are all so great at making me feel these deep feelings. I’m still in awe at all of it. The grace and elegance congealing into violence… oh my… the bizarreness of it all… To borrow from Taurie Cain’s new Bloodmoon item description, “I feel strange sensations.” 11/10
The event:
I LOVE the gas can sound, animations and aesthetics. The gas can animation is insanely good. I love the way the blood shoots out in a stream. It looks very realistic imo. The animation is so incredibly deeply satisfying that it cannot be overstated. The sounds of the blood sloshing around, the sounds of the blood filling up at the pump… Masterful!
The Blood Pumps themselves look something out of an American route 66 abandoned gas station. From the yellow color to the faded frosted glass on top with all the bloody fleshy growths all over… Wow… 😵😵😵
I’m very impressed with the liquid animation slowly rising within the blood generators. I love the gradualness of it, it’s kind of hypnotizing. The Blood Gens themselves are amazing too. I think yellow is the perfect color. It compliments the blood and feel of “danger” remarkably well.
Gameplay-wise it's a home run for me. The concept of getting “gas” to power a gen was so elegantly pulled off.
This is my favorite event of the year and every single aspect of it delivered. From the skins (Taurie’s is my favorite) I love love love the ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ mask she has going on. To the community event with morphing lobby background… It was worth the wait.
And I still have time to keep living this beautiful nightmare! From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who poured their hearts into this event. I feel it. I feel the passion, the love, the intensity!… Dbd is something very special and has been the best horror experience of my life.
11/10 but in reality ♾️/10 🩸🌕♥️♥️♥️
