Suggestion : Aura-proof and instinct-proof lockers

When a survivor hides in a locker, they shouldn't be revealed by any means. Hiding in a locker is a huge risk and should be rewarded. Killers are rewarded when they search lockers by grabbing and hooking the survivor instantly. But survivors are like a victim when the killer has an aura-reading perk or killer instinct. "Come, hook me" is a harsh punishment for survivors who prefer stealthy gameplay.

Dudes, lockers don't hide your aura against Nowhere to Hide, Friends till the End, Legion instinct, Skull merchant instinct, Ghoul instinct, Wesker instinct, dog search, crow power, etc. Almost half of the killers have an instinct. Lockers only protects you against Barbecue&Chili and Doctor electrocution. If you don't know this, please play more survivors until you realize what perks and instincts lockers don't work against. Otherwise, I will think you're main Killer and try to stop this suggestion become live :)

Hiding in locker is absolutely risk free beside iron maiden, if anything we should nerf it

Sorry but lockers should block aura reading and they do as long as the survivor is inside the locker? If you have proof they don't then post it as its a bug, but I feel that you are either yourself mistaken as if they would be that bugged it would have been reported several times. Your statement that BBQ aura reading is blocked by lockers is true but that is how it works on any aura read not just specific to that perk been like that from the release of the game.

Well, if it is working like that for you, then it is a bug, as this is not what my or any others that I know of experiences. In that case, please open a ticket in the bug section and we might get this sorted out.

But bugs nonwithstanding, there is nothing inherently different from BBQs aura reading to Nowhere to Hide's aura reading, they both should work in the same way.

I don't doubt that you might have encountered a bug there, and it might be worth investigating, but on general, lockers should provide will protection from aura reading perks and abilities once the door is closed.

Just one last question: what does "all tested and approved" even mean? Who approved your tests? Was this done in any official capacity? Just curious ;)

I play killer and I can confirm, that no locker allow to see surv aura. Instinct on the other hand is different thing entirely.

    1. Not half of a roster, this is unnecessary overestimation.

    2. Instinct have its purpose, including finding survs in lockers...

Please for all that is good and holy, can you demonstrate any clip of aura being read INSIDE lockers?

Only way to see aura of a survivor who is inside a locker is being Dredge when you teleport into that specific locker they are in.

Good news, as others have pointed out, lockers already hide survivor auras, so you're halfway there already! As for killer instinct, the very few triggers that cause killer instinct is specifically designed to always give that survivors position away - it's classified as killer instinct to prevent being able to block it. You're out of luck, there.
