Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Console: The hypocrisy called Dredge

Many years ago, BHVR removed the Moonlight offerings stating that is made it impossible to properly light maps, which was unfair to Killers. Many years later, BHVR creates Dredge, which makes it impossible for Console players to see anything but their avatar. BHVR's hypocrisy is that they couldn't care less about the playability of console players, while making it extremely simple for Killers & PC players. PC players can run filters to completely negate Nightshade, and they do. They also drop the fidelity to its lowest level, which allows Killers to remove all visual clutter. Even if we can turn off all the lights in the room to play, which is not an option for most people, we can't see anything.

It is extremely clear that the current development team has no interest at all in balance, when it comes to Console players vs PC Players. If we turn off cross-play, we're lucking to get 1 match an hour, which is no different than we had 8 years ago. Nightshade needs to be adjusted to be nothing more than annoyance, not unplayable. Mouse flicking, needs to be completely removed. There isn't any other game that I know of that allows the abuse that mouse flicking does. I know this is going to bring trolls, so I won't be checking back for any answers, and I don't expect BHVR to do anything, as they clearly do not care.

It seems like you have something against PC more than anything. Most games can't even help mouse flicking, not that they even want to. Plus, the quality of the game such as Dredge's nightfall, can often be equated to the quality of which you're playing the game like if you're using a TV instead of a monitor.

Not being able to tweak every little detail like PC players is simply due to lacking means to do so. Maybe Dredge's nightfall should be adjusted, but saying flicks should be removed is just bias. A player should be punished for being able to have an higher end system, or their prefrence for Mouse and keyboard over controller. PC's in general cost a bit or a lot more because they can tweak every little thing. Take that away and what's it worth?

You have a console. Maybe its a prefrence, or maybe it's finacial limitation. Focus on what you can do, and not what you can't.
