I’d love to see re-skin for Laurie this Halloween of the legend Dr. Loomis with special voicelines and unique with Myers if hes being chased by him. Halloween enjoyers will thank you.

    But honestly, the only way BHVR can do this justice is to ask the family of Donald Pleasence about using his likeness.
    A licenced character without the likeness of the actor unfortunately falls short for me.

    Idd pay like 25 dollars for a skin for Laurie as Dr. Loomis with voice acting and the likeness of Donald Pleasence.
    I know Hollywood is expensive, I'm willing to offer that up for such a in-game skin.

    Thing about that halloween licence they got, is its a comic book version which is why they didnt end up with a laurie strode like the movie. Dr loomis is in the comics yes, but the actors likeness is from another licence and would cut into their not putting 1 licence skin onto another licence - rule. Itd be possible to get a comic version of him. Think of it as the difference between ghost face we got, and ghost face from scream.

    I think it’s a misconception that the whole Halloween license is comics only. The only thing that is from the comics is Laurie’s likeness cuz Jamie lees likeness rights are probably very expensive but even then I don’t thats confirmed either Even if that’s not the point I’ll take any version of Loomis comics or not.

    I mean im not trying to put your hopes down id love more halloween content as well. During dbds early years it seemed like they grabbed any big licence they could get, but the least expensive/iconic version. For example freddy not being taken from any of the main movies, only the small reboot with a different actor. In halloweens case, they took the comic version probably because it was the only myers/laurie they could afford at the time. If they had gotten the movie license who knows if they wouldve added more over time since the movies keep coming out and Jamie Lee keeps the role going.

    But they are stuck with the licenses they have instead of the bigger versions, its like they can't "upgrade" to the more iconic ones due to everyone alredy purchasing the older content. And probably maintaining an image where they can be trusted to keep each license in good hands and, "replacing" them might make future license holders with multiple versions hold back from collaberations.
