Surrender Mechanic

Just wanting to make sure I'm not misinterpreting this. So if every match the survivors surrender window opens and they all surrender to dc, so then I dc, the "kills" for the purposes of MMR will be whatever they were at that exact moment, even if they "would've" been kills had I stayed till the exact end.

IE if I 4 man slugged them down, they all instantly surrender DC, so I do as well. Even though I had "won", that would be "technically" not raising my mmr since they weren't dead yet (just technically 4 slugged atm) when I left as well since they were all bots. So this would allow people to forever lower their mmr intentionally? If this is the case and I'm interpreting this correctly, that would allow a lot of abuse for people to indefinitely smurf and drop their mmr on purpose. Needs fixing if this is the case. Hopefully it's not and I'm misinterpreting this.

    Anyone know?

Once all 4 survivors dc, even if they aren't dead yet, and then I leave since they all have already, does that give me the kills? Or does it snapshot that they're technically still alive when I left, IE lowering my MMR. Trying to understand how this surrender mechanic is affecting things in the background.

The MMR will neither increase or decrease is what we were told I believe. Apparently it’s a separate “entity”

So no, you won’t lower your MMR.
