A Small Rework to various Killer Perks
I think we'd all like every perk to be viable in some form or another, but with the recent haste/hindered changes, we've become really focused on adjusting the numbers. I love thinking up these kinds kinda reworks ideas, beautifully simplifing or building up a concept, so here are the few I have somewhat polished off and want to see what other think. Any feed back is welcome.
Dissolution
Everything turns to dust. It is as inescapable as the coming of the night.
The first time you are stunned by a Pallet, All Survivors suffer from the Exhausted status effect for 60/70/80 seconds, and Dissolution activates for the rest of the Trial.
- A Survivor will Instantly Break any Pallet they fast vault if they are suffering from the Exhausted status effect
Hex: Huntress Lullaby
A Hex rooting its power in despair.
Your hunt is an irresistible song of dread which muddles your prey's attention.
The timer between the Skill Check Warning cue and the Skill Check appearing is changed in the following ways:
- Repair Skill Checks have their timer reduced by 25%
- Healing Skill Checks have their timer reduced by 50%
When you hook a Survivor for the first time, all Hex Totems become blocked for the next 40/50/60 seconds, and Both types of Skill Checks have their Warning cues become completely suppressed.
All effects of the Hex Perk persist until its Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed.
Hex: Retribution
A Hex that lashes out upon its destruction.
Those who cross you will be punished.
- After cleansing or blessing any Totem, all Injured Survivors have their aura revealed for 15 seconds
- If there are at least 3 Survivors in the Injured State, this Hex cleanses itself, and all Injured Survivors suffer from the Broken status effect for 60/75/90 seconds.
All effects of the Hex Perk persist until its Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed.
Hoarder
You know what it’s like to hold so little, and the rage that it brings when they rummage through your stockpiles.
If you start Chase with a Survivor that is holding an Item, your Bloodlust is charged 30/40/50% faster.
- If all other Survivors are holding Items, you begin the chase with the Bloodlust status.
Hoarder spawns 2 additional Chests in the Trial.
Overwhelming Presence
Just knowing you are near is enough to disturb your Victims
At the Start of the Trial, the consumption rate of All Items is Increased by 100% for 80/100/120 seconds.
- This duration is paused while your Obsession is inside your Terror Radius.
You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time
Scourge Hook: Hangman’s Trick
There’s a genius to your modifications that nobody can match, it even Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability.
At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks:
- The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white.
- Receive a loud noise notification when a Survivor would begin sabotaging a hook.
- When any Scourge Hook breaks, reveal the Aura of all Survivors for 8/9/10 seconds
If you search a Locker, you cause all Scourge hooks to break, which then take 90 seconds to respawn.
Septic Touch
The Land of the Shadows subsumes all.
Septic Touch activates when there is an Injured Survivor inside your Terror Radius:
- Your Terror Radius increases by 8/10/12 meters
- Survivors inside your Terror Radius suffer the Blindness status effect.
Shattered Hope
You’ve broken their hopes into pieces, and what remains will fade away
- The aura of dropped Pallets are revealed to you in Blue
- When you Break these Pallets, all Totems in the Trial become blocked for 5/6/7 second
- If a Boon Totem would become blocked, it is instead destroyed.
