Give survivors something so I can have my queue times back
I never see queue incentives for killer anymore. Even in the US West servers in the evening, survivor queue times are nearly instant. That was never the case even just 3 months ago. I know the new stats suggest solo queue is doing better than historically, but the player base appears more dissatisfied than ever.
Perhaps the blood generators can be introduced into the regular game, with new perks that interact only with them. Maybe experiment with some new exhaustion perks. Maybe make a perk that gives a close resemblance to old balance landing, as a lot of older players loved seeing that bug bring back that old function.
Obviously, these things need to be balanced, just spit balling. I hate waiting for killer queues, and playing survivor feels kind of boring lately.

Here are some survivor perk ideas for the devs to consider.
Pack Rat - You can carry an additional item. Press the secondary active ability button to swap items. Does not allow you to spawn with an extra item.
Parkour - Stagger and falling sounds are reduced by 25%. Does not work while exhausted. Does not cause exhausted.
Dopamine Rush - When completing a generator, break into a sprint at 150% running speed for 5 seconds. Become exhausted for 30 seconds.
Reflex - When narrowly avoiding a basic attack, you gain 25% haste for 2 seconds.
Comforting Candle - While shining a flashlight, recover from status effects 100% faster. (The same ones covered by Vigil)
Roid Rage - Hitting the killer with a pallet will stun them 50% longer. Does not work while exhausted. Does not cause exhausted.

You just answered your own suggestion with "survivor feels kind of boring lately."

Once the ghoul hype dies down, it'll probably go back to normal - especially with a new survivor coming out very soon. Also, the whole new event expiring means we're not dividing the available number of players between two gamemodes, so that means more people in one pool, again.

You dont need to introduce new things. Just balance the killer role to get playable matches.

Alternately you could play a few rounds of surv yourself to help with this directly, then go to killer.

I would play more survivor if maps weren‘t as killer sided as they are. I got temple of purgation 10 times yesterday and borgo a few times. I hate these maps with passion. They are tiny with nothing on them like a lot of the current maps.
I really wished behavior fixed que‘s finally. I don‘t like playing survivor and killer takes ages to get a match.

Like I said about a million times non stop nerfs to survivors is making none wanna touch the role, now that I got to p 100 on my trevor I been deciding this entire week if to even bother continue playing or take a break or heck even stop playing dbd entirely.
Healing= nerfed and bad
Chases builds = nerfed
Flashlights/bangs=nerfed
Endurance stacking =gone
Speed boost when hit from killer nerfed= and tbh it seem worst like the speed boost went from 1.8 to just 1 seconds and am shocked no one talk about this
Wiggle build = nerf removed with great wiggle skills meaningless since specially pc killers do not struggle with 50+ hooks added
Stealth build= nerf
Maps= 90% of them full of garbage loops, unsafe pallets the size of a peanut.
Killers = every killer getting buff as if the goal is to make them A or S it seem like Hound master being over buffed and am sure I do not need to list all the killers who has gotten buffs.
Lightburn =removed which was a decent counter to artist and wraith.
Swfs=like my 30+ friends who quit dbd leaving and thus your stuck with solo q potatoes who 90% bad cause most veteran players has seem to quit the game like swfs.
Perks= Alot of perks that are niche too worthless or just copy and paste of each other example calm spirit vs harden
Killers= seem to be a new thing of copy and paste with a few tweaks. Like honestly Myers vs ghosty there is barely much diffence to them. Dracula is literally spirit+demo+triangle head.
Alas maybe its just me but I am not facing as many ghouls now as before so I doubt its really just a ghoul thing that's causing this but more of all what I said above. Sorry for the on going rant op.
Edit= grammar mistakes.

I don't think new perks are the answer, necessarily. It'd probably be a better idea to address the big problem areas with survivor at the moment, like tunnelling, aggressive slugging, the go-next epidemic, and the few problematic weak maps.
A few of those things are on the roadmap, at least, so I'm holding out hope it's done properly and the queue times can go back to being reasonable on both sides lmao
Off topic but -
What do you mean when you say chase builds were nerfed, what perks are you referring to? I have a better sense on what you're talking about on the other bullet points even if I disagree - healing, for example, is in a fantastic spot right now, it's not even close to bad - but I'm just flat out not sure what you're referring to with that one.

It's especially problematic when you consider how strong recent killers and their reworks have been. Like what am I supposed to do against Ghoul on Haddonfield? Playing against this killer is already difficult on a map like Badham. On one of the weaker maps the game is just over at the start. We have weak maps and the overall strongest cast of killers the game has ever seen. The design philosophy here does not make sense at all. Not to me anyway.

Been asking for a gas machanic that would be required and would stop a gen from regressing past a certain percentage for a long time

To be honest it’s not just the ghoul. Playing against any killer on haddonfield is a nightmare.

I don‘t get this philosophy too. You should either buff the weaker killers or nerf the stronger killers and make maps weaker. Both is overkill and only frustrating.

Haddonfield is about the only actual Killer Sided Map that I can think of. It needs a fix. However, it was survivor sided for years, so we will see how long it takes to fix that despite all the feedback given on the ptb when they did release it the way that they did.
Quite a while ago they had a bunch of maps they collected feedback on that people gave them as well that needs to be adjusted.

I mean, only reason for this is Ghoul.
Before killers had way lower queue times basically every evening as usual.

Both Borgos, rancid, temple of purgation … are all also killer sided and extremely unenjoyable to play. I‘m fine with killer sided maps as long as they are enjoyable to play on, but they aren‘t. Killers can at least always play a stronger killer or equip perks that balance things out. Survivors don‘t have something like that. Therefore maps have to lean more to survivors, because maps are the thing they rely on. If some killers are too weak buff them, but you shouldn’t balance maps around weak killers while the strong ones have access to them as well.
I really hope they don’t listen to that map feedback. It will only lead to more bad map changes.

Maps have never been their strong suit.

Not a god damn soul is going to be playing survivor when fnaf comes out, we are so cooked.

as a pretty full-time old timer Killer Main, i like longer queues because matches i play go average 20 minutes i'd say, and i ready up fast after match and during queue times i like to do things… but killer queues did get quicker in event by today, the other day they was going like within a minute,… normally often i just don't ready up to give me a period before a next match, so…. yeah, i hope they get better for you and anyone that is affected, some days want quicker queues but most days i like my period between matches and the wait queues are nice long enough often that it gives me the time i can use before a next match. and yeah, what would be cool too is if survivors can use their leaking blood while injured to fill cans or or they can only fill cans off other injured survivors which would be better and i just thought of filling up off others just now which is better. and as for the waiting queues, and you can handle any wait if you was there for Myers Release waiting queues, talking like average 25-30 mins to Kill when myers came, i doubt fnaf will be as bad as Myers in waiting, we not cooked. just answering to guy above me while typing post with this last thing said.

Kinda, but they‘ve been better in the past. I was the happiest with dbd during the time where circle of healing and hook grabs still were a thing.

and, a survivor use their blood to fill anothers can means they can't heal for rest of match. that is that, im not going to go to deep in to thinking of what would be cool, but yeah… they can't heal if

I get it. I’m pretty happy now. I just want my adjustment a to Sadako.
