Initilization Error (PC - Steam)

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: After freshly installing the game, and trying to log in I am unable to get past the main menu and connect to the servers, getting the following error:
"INITIALIZATION ERROR. The game has initialized incorrectly and may not save your game properly. Restarting your game may resolve the problem."
PLATFORM: PC - Steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: I freshly installed the game and opened it.
