Slight rework/buff for perk Human Greed
The wording of the perk Human Greed needs some revision but also a buff. First note their is a grammatical error where it uses [a] instead of [an] before the [8-meter] in the first half of the effect.
I suggest having the aura of chests be available at all times to be able to see which chests can be shut and where they are since when they get opened you lose track of the chests location.
I also suggest giving it the additional effect of adding 1 additional chest spawn increasing its effectiveness but it also gives Survivors the ability to gain another item at the risk of revealing themselves.
The primary effect of showing Survivors' aura should remain the same at first to see if it needs some alteration.
The secondary effect of kicking chests closed should still be in the effect but increase the cooldown to 30-45 seconds because it simply doesn't get used enough to warrant such a small cooldown.

Do take note before commenting that this is in the aspect of individuality of the perk itself and the Killer adept functionality. A regular match takes about 10-20 minutes and when the Killer normally has down time to use Human Greed normally they have no idea where the chests are and have to stumble upon them.
I have taken into account that paired with Hoarder the effect will be significantly stronger but this also does severely limit the perk selection for the Killer from 4 down to 2 and is taken into consideration for the limitations imposed by pairing them together. On its own it is a good buff, paired together with fitting perks it becomes better at the cost of limiting other potential perk combinations.

Yeah, I agree.

A nice buff but it still leaves the perk as bad. I agree it should show the aura of opened chests, not closed ones so you can know where you need to close them.
In general the perk just doesn’t give enough aura reading for the slot. I think the range of them should be a tiny bit further, like 10 meters, and just their aura the entire time they’re within it like Weave Attunement instead of a duration. That plus the extra chest you added would make the perk solid. The downside that they can get more items you recommended seems fair.

This would be a mere stepping stone towards a final revision of the perk, if it does need altering after practice then it should do so accordingly in response to what it needs. Remember that right now, to effectively use the perk, you need to focus almost all your attention on activating the effects for almost no benefit.

Also to actually get enough aura reading from the perk you have to run Hoarder with it..which is a very bad perk. So now you're wasting 2 slots for what you'd normally get in aura reading from probably 1 perk. Hoarder also needs a huge buff for that matter though and I suppose that's a different conversation.

I suggested of making the open chests aura be visible too a while ago but these changes are fine too wont make the perk anyway too powerful.

Indeed, that is the point. On its own it is just enough to satisfy basic aura reading and can be augmented by other perks to allow a different form of aura reading that is completely separate from the norm. A change of scenery as one might put it. It gives the ability to not be forced into the meta and give a second option that could be good or bad depending on chest spawns. If the chests spawn on strong tiles that is good, if they are all grouped on one half of the map it is overall bad but could be used to lock an area down.
