Tome 2 Reckoning "Mad About You" Challenge not completing

The Doctor challenge from the 2nd Tome "Mad About You" (from the first page) where it requires you to play as doctor and apply Madness lvl 1 to 2 different survivors doesn't seem to work, even though applying with either Static Blast or Shock Therapy the 1st madness lvl the challenge doesn't complete even though the survivors are in the required madness level. I tried this on three different game modes (blood moon, chaos shuffle and classic) but it worked at none; I've been recommended by someone on reddit to unselect and select again (it didn't work), a friend of mine has recommended me to restart the game (quit and launch the game) but that haven't worked either so I believe this isn't just a mistake on my part the game is simply bugged. The platform I play on is STEAM and also I've been told this challenge is potentially bugged due to how many changes the doctor went through and simply the "new doctor" is not recognised by the challenge

    There is actually 3 TOME challanges for Doctor that dont work. Mad about you and mad skills. 2x in TOME 2, page 1 and 2 and last one is TOME 15 - everything that is infcilt madness tier X on Y survivors
