Killer Surrender
I believe this should be reworked. I was in a game. We were the last 2 survivors. Strategically we were working on 2 separate generators and almost had them completed but the killer was doing patrols. In 10 minutes we had one at 99 and the other at 75, took off pig traps, healed each other, and continuously kept up gen progress while avoiding death. Yet the killer was able to surrender even though we were not just doing nothing. This is unfair as it counts as a loss for us and it’s very possible we would have gotten out.

Had the same happen to me on dead dawg against a legion.
One dead and another getting chased so teammate and I were working on the last gen but the legion played well and ensured we were always interrupted so it hit that 10min mark which they abandoned giving the epic victory to the killer.
We definitely could've finished the last gen but oh well, I can't blame killers for doing it, most people would press the win button like even I have done it

The 10 minute timer should reset on gen progress/healing others/unhooks. Not just from gen finishes.

Wow I did not know this was a thing. So the survivors are punished for attempting to do their objective? ######### backwards baloney is that? There is no way that's not a bug. Ding the devs people.

Surrender for killer means his defeat, so you win

This is not accurate. BHVR clarified that it's a killer loss.
You won, so what exactly is the issue you're not happy with?

I lost my items and add ons so it definitely wasn’t a win for us

I lost all my items. Idk if it was a bug back then but it definitely was a loss for us. We even had the death symbol at the end screen

No? BHVR clarified if you as a killer abandon after 10m of 0 gens have been done, its a win for survivors.

Abandon = win indeed. Boring form of winning, but it's not loss.

with a game so full of issues idk how you're surprised by something not working the way they claim it should….. but i indeed lost all my items and it was a loss for us. This was months ago tho and i haven’t had a killer surrender since tbh so maybe its fixed. On the reverse back then if i abandoned it counted as a win for me so we would do it all the time. Thats been fixed now tho
