Flashlight save not registering, or exploit being done to prevent flashlight save

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

Blinded killer for a flashlight save, timing was right. Save didn't go through. Not sure if bug or exploit.

    I think you got the wrong timing, you need to start aiming when the killer is "adjusting" the survivor on his shoulder. You started the blind very early.

    its just the percentage of it allowed to flash, i often let free flash take place to help the scenarios, i get the freebie quite often, i even got it twice in row, like multiple times in matches, i don't play survivor so like i ain't keen on that side of the flashing, i sure do don't miss that wrap around flashing i felt was happening back when. it don't sound like a bug or exploit, then to also i am the last person to distinguish what is an exploit between just playing, i can feel/notice a bug tho sometimes when i do.
