killer concept The Savior

The savior is made out of pure darkness, black particles and smoke emitting from its body, screams and cries from its body. It has sharp claws and a vintage-black cloak, its body is also Vanta-black, and the only revealing part of it is a mask, its voice is a harmony of corrupted entities and humans, It uses reality and pure darkness to disorient and corrupt survivors and the world, Don't trust anything. even your teammates. Ability name: "Don't resist."

Passive: it can't attack light. So nearby surroundings corrupt and darken so it can attack. So the survivors have to use lanterns and flashlights (they all get it when the trial starts.)

Ability 1: it roars, causing all survivors nearby's screen to distort and turn red. It will then lunge at a survivor, (like the demo's lunge) and roar again, then corrupt the surroundings nearby, then take off its mask and bite into the survivor's arm, after, the ability stops and goes on cooldown, and the survivor has been injured,


Ability 2. it reaches out, black smoke emitting and growing from it, it can control the black smoke, and the black smoke can be used to ensnare and corrupt the survivor.

Ability 3. this is only unlocked at 2-1 gens.
It mutates and breaks the mask, and growls, and the black smoke corrupts the trial, leaving the survivors in darkness, (LANTERN AND FLASHLIGHTS ARE BUFFED DURING THIS PERIOD) And it will be able to "abduct" players in its realm.

Ability 4. (once endgame is activated, and all survivors are abducted.)
retribution day:

All survivors are spawned together, it's a huge laboratory, all lights are on, lights nearby the savior turn off, and nearby survivors are forced to not look at it, if they do, it will distort reality nearby, and it will roar at them, grabbing them, and ensnaring them,
it can do multiple things based on if there's light on where the survivor is,
or if they're in darkness.

Function one: it can flicker lights. As well as being able to walk to the survivor in the period the lights are flickering, if caught, they will be ensnared.

Function two: It can use a "survivor decoy" to run up to a survivor (who will have a hunted status debuff), and the decoy will drag the afflicted survivor to the savior.

Passive:. It can teleport with each step it makes in the darkness.



EYE OF THE STORM: Once all survivors are corrupted or ensnared, the roof will rot and decompose, revealing the sky, the light dims down and an enormous portal opens forth, black smoke emits from the portal, entering the savior's body, it roars, and then, all of the survivor's screen turns red. They are given one last chance to escape, it breaks the mask, throwing all of the other survivors to the ground, and a portal opens up in its chest, and its eyes open (small dots. Just like its right eye. It grabs one of the broken pieces, puts it on, and forces it to stay, revealing its right eye, the portal in its chest opens up more, red veins spreading to its right arm, making eyes open up (red eyes, dots just like the other eyes) and a mouth opens up, full of teeth and red eyes, and a red glow, it roars at the sky,

How to survive: the survivors have to hide in the locker and multiple locations so it doesn't find them, they have to find a bunker lock all doors, and look on cameras (NOT FNAF. it's so the savior doesn't find them.) and after some time, a cross will spawn, via sound cue, and a text.

The savior has three abilities,

Bounded celestial
it stomps on the ground, causing nearby lights and the ground itself to distort and turn pitch black, any survivor inside the AOE will be grabbed and dragged to the gateway.

Heavenly smite.

It opens its mouth, the teeth glowing red and eyes opening, then it detects survivors, but if a survivor was corrupted via other abilities, it will grab them and throw them to the gateway, a black and red beam striking down into the survivor's chest, black smoke whirling down. The beam takes 10 seconds to start up, and another 10 seconds to shoot. The black smoke takes 8 seconds


The storm calls.

The gateway expands and grows, calling upon the savior's realm to corrupt and invade the trial, beams and black smoke strike down, and entities spawn which need to be terminated via flashlights and lanterns. Hands grab nearby survivors, lights flicker and shut off, the darkness is alive. as Ashe survivors go to try and exit, the corruption takes a mind of its own, spreading and ravaging throughout the map,
The exit has opened, a portal full of light a soft trail to it. They have to run and stay in light, if they exist, they win, if the corruption fully spreads, the portal will close, and they will be corrupted.


THE GATEWAY:
The savior dislikes the idea of hooks, so it uses the idea of portals in the sky (vortex. a pitch-black vortex with red lightning striking out.)

Once the survivor has been put on the sacrificial cross (ground) the sky opens up, to reveal a black, smokey vortex, and red lightning strikes down on the map (not dealing damage)

Stage 1: an eye opens up and looks down upon them, and the black smoke spreads across the ground nearby,

stage 2: black smoke stabs and impales the survivor, spreading across their flesh, they have to struggle and try to find the right.

unhooking stage: the survivor grabs a flashlight with a small amount of battery and flashes it onto the black smoke, they quickly help the survivor up, and the gateway closes,

killing animation: a black beam strikes down, and a hand (in the shape of the saviors)s savior thesurvivor's corpse and lifts it into the gateway, which the gateway will close.



Ensnare is surrounded by darkness, they have to be saved by other survivors via lantern .

Mori animation (ensnared,)
it walks to the survivor, watching as they try to throw the lantern at it, it looks at the lantern and summons another copy of the mask it had at the start of the trial. It puts the mask on and makes the lantern disappear, it then walks closer, and the survivor tries to fight back for once. And try to hit it using their hand, but their hand goes through and into its body, and the savior grabs them, black smoke whirling around them, and then the black smoke consumes them fully.

Normal mori animation,
it grabs the survivor and puts its mask on, it then throws the survivor walks to them, and points to them, black smoke whirls around them, and a spike impales them, it grabs their neck, and li s transforms into another killer, and rips their throat out, before turning back to ititsriginal form. (only dredge and the unknown, possibly the knight or Vecna

Perks:

"Corruption"
Each time you hook a survivor, you gain a token by 0.3, each token increases your speed, but also increases your stun timer.

Max token is 5/10/15
"Sinner."

Every time you get blinded, the survivor will get oblivious and exposed for 10 seconds.

10/20/30

"the hunt begins."

once you injured a survivor 5 times,

you will be able to inflict oblivious on them, and exposure, you will have hast but you won't see any other survivors besides the afflicted one. (the other survivors are invisible)

Interactions with other killers in the 2v8 mode:

Dredge.

"You satisfy me."
Knight.
"Weak."
Vecna:
"I can get rid of that mark. If you join us. I'm not bound by this game, I will make sure you aren't either."
The Dark Lord:
"Boring Mori. I can help. with that."



Selection menu for when it's brought selected.

The savior appears from black smoke, looking at the camera as the camera distorts and breaks, showing multiple entities behind it and crawling from its large and tall body.

How it entered the fog:
It entered the fog by just. Appears, it finds an interest in the entity and wants to "befriend" or corrupt the entity,

Skins: for common,

the player can change the smoke color to red, brown, pink, white, brown/

for mythic, it changes the savior to be a hooded figure, a lot smaller than the original killer, yet still in the tall category, its idle animation is looking behind its shoulder.

    a human with the same mask, brown hair and a brown jacket,
    and instead of claws, it's a dagger.

    ALSO.

    there is a eye hole for the savior's original form and the Aiden Brooks skin, but of course ,one has a normal human eye, and the other has a red glowing dot for a eye, aswell as a different mask design for the skin.

    I like the idea of a killer that just talks smack about other killers. It think its funny.

    Ability wise its definetly a bit too much. I think you should get rid of some (and maybe reuse them for another concept) and or buff others.

    "The saviour has arrived ability feels a bit weak since (if i understood correctly) the survivors can just step off the gen for a few seconds and the ability does nothing.

    The "ALL. WILL. SUFFER." needs some changes since if a survivir doesnt have a flashlight they cant do anything. Maybe instead of using flashlights the trial spawns the yellow crosses from the "This game, wont bound me" ability.

    Could you also explain what abilities the "Fall" ability exactly unlocks since it wasnt completely clear in your post.

    "This game, wont bound me" is a cool idea. The survivors having to do one more thing against the killer before they can open the gates could be really interesting to go against if made correctly.

    Perk wise the "Sinner" perk seems extremely strong. Unless the speed buff per token is like 0.3 or less it might be op on some killers.

    "The hunt begins" does it activate when you have hit a single survivor 5 times or any survivor 5 times? Does it also last for the rest of the trial and are the unnaflicted survivors just invisible or you dont see their aura or what?

    Killer appearance wise is cool but i think the body should have something that can be customised. The interactions in the 2v8 mode is a very fun idea and should be added to some other killers aswell. With a bit of reworking the abilities to make the killer less confusing to go against, i think this concept could work.

    Also, if you have any ideas for the lore i would like to hear it. I want to know why or how the saviour ended up in the trials and just how strong it is. I also want to know why the entity lets it do its thing since it doesnt seem like it maybe wants to beat the entity (since it wants to remove the mark weakening Vecna).

    i might rework but to answer the question about how it ended up in the trials, it was "invited" and it just went on to join in, aswell as to be a friend of the entity, aswell as corrupting a few of the survivors, but i will rework it if i figure out how

    It's basically as strong as the entity, without the mask that is, but with the mask on, it's like dredge power level, it just likes how it looks and that it gives the survivors an actual advantage. Its lore is it's an eldrich entity that wishes to break into real life by using the multiverse as a rift/vessel, once in real life, it will find its creator, and it will corrupt Earth and other planets.

    But if it wants, it can make the mask empower it more.
    for why the entity lets the savior do its thing
    is may be due to the gateway/corruption making the entity have some influence, as well as the savior acting like a "helper" but it still has free will, as well as if the entity attacks it, it will adapt and want to get the entity's power, which it could But it doesn't want to just because it thinks the entity is funny,

    It can help the entity recruit strong killers/survivors if they ever retaliate. The entity wants to remove the mark-weakening veena to see its power and experiment with all killers and survivors.
