Please do not revert "go next prevention" regardless of backlash you get
Really, the biggest problem in survivor gameplay was always those people not even trying to play even though queing up, I'd rather take fewer player count than playing with those griefers
It was long time to finally fix all those issues, we really should kill those exploits in one go

we need to next prevention, but first they need to fix the causes of it, aka tunneling and camping… and some fixes to some maps and killers (some anime boy) then we can talk about the go next prevention

Absolutely not, there is no way to differentiate people who absolutely just "go next" for slightest reason that no one cares, and people who actually don't feel like playing the game, things that should happen "first" is definitely go next prevention, that may or may not reduce player count, and in those cases we can look at "root cause" that causes player counts to get lower

No, survivors are really burned, especially since Kaneki arrives. They need to fix those issues and then the go next prevention, because at that point they really will not have any excuse to not play.
-9 -
They aren't, those who has excuses to not play should not play the game at all, as long as they are queing up no one believes they "don't want to play"
And on top of it, your logic allows those griefers to bend the game for their will by holding the entire games hostage through penalty free griefing, first people should stop griefing, and only then their opinions will matter

They just nerfed him. What more do you want?

I get the reasoning behind this, but many go-next-people will throw a hissy fit and leave over the smallest things.

For the majority of survivors, toxic survivors who throw tantrums and abandon the game are far more annoying than a few powerful killers.

you already have all the tools needed to counter tunneling and camping, so go next prevention is more than ready for being implemented.
Ohh, let's not forget that going next early literally forces early 3v1 way more often than tunneling nowadays :)

If you don't address the reasons behind the epidemic, you will trade self-kills for standing under hook (in better case) or actively sabotaging survivors (in worst case - e.g. by throwing all the pallets and body blocking other survivors).
Sure, go next prevention would get rid of some offenders (via DC penalty/less games, they deciding to continue play normally, or by them abandoning DBD altogether), but I really wonder if the end result would actually be more desirable over current state.

Then former still takes DC penalty according to their writing, while latter simply gets a well deserved ban, so still much better than absolute free sabotaging they can do for now, as self-sacrifice is WORST case of sabotaging survivors

I go next because my solo Q teammates do not save me, they don't bother saving me for whatever reason, even when I'm using Kindred. It's boring and frustrating just hanging there on a hook not being able to do anything while being ignored by my teammates.

The reasons I go next
1. Players that refuse to do gens
2. Troll players
3. Get Tunneled out or hook camped because anti-camp does nothing because as soon as you get off hook you lost your endurance.-5 -
When I play Survivor, I get way way way more upset at people abandoning because they "feel tunnelled/camped" or "don't like the Killer/Map/my team" or "didn't get their way" more than I do at Killers who actually tunnel and camp. Survivors giving up is what REALLY ruins my games, to the point I barely play Survivor anymore.
It's not Killers. It's Survivors. Why they are doing it isn't the issue here. The problem is they're doing it, and it's ruining games.-1
