Perk idea : regressing gates hex
As a 60-40 survivor-killer player who’s been playing since 2020, I think gates are too easy to 99 and have no counter play. Blood warden is easily avoidable and gets little to no value if the survivors are smart enough, and especially since the new HUD came out, right before the 5th gen pops, someone is already at the gate waiting to open it.
Depending on gates location (which are REALLY random : either too close or too far apart), it’s very easy to time it perfectly before the first light, wait for the killer to go check the other gate and open it fully.
Hence why I suggest a new end game perk, making the gates regress just like Hex:Ruin does with gens. Make it a Hex like NOED or Ruin, to make for interesting end game plays. Should survivors open the gates and launch the EGC, risking Blood Warden for a last second save ? Or should they cleanse first, risking to reveal their location ? Especially after hatch has been found and closed.

Nah, I think BHVR don’t want to do that because it will be too oppressive with certain killers. Trapper, Hag and mobility killers will stomp survivors. Especially if they have remember me. And if you’re the last survivor you’re basically done.
