Cannot progress the Bloodweb

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When I started leveling up a character(Zarina) every time I go to click on the last item(In my case, the mystery gift) to unlock and level her up, the game takes the bloodpoints, resets the bloodpoints it took, and reverts her back to the level she was. So my character progression is now currently softlocked and I cannot get anything else for her. Thanks for looking at my post.
