Disabling blurry TAA makes transparent textures look weird
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
When I disable TAA to get rid of the "vaseline smear" effect it causes, it makes half-transparent textures look rather weird and "speckled". I can't play with TAA as it makes me motion sick and everything looks blurry.
The issue seems to especially affect hair and for example Spirit's Nightmare Serpent skin as you can see.
I haven't had this issue in any other games (although they have had AA options besides the garbage that TAA is).
As a side note, DbD also has way too many stutters on the hardware I'm using and for the graphics quality it has. Albeit the stutters are relatively subtle, they're still very annoying and DbD can't maintain a stable 120 fps.
PLATFORM:
- Windows 11
- AMD 7900 XTX (both 25.3.1 and 25.1.1, but issue has existed with previous versions as well)
- AMD R9 7950X3D
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
Launch the game, turn graphics to "Ultra" and set anti-aliasing to "Off".
