Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

The new quest system need some improvements.

Right now, the quests give such a miniscule reward and are far too easy. I was able to finish all the weekly quests in just a 2-3 matches. I don't think they should be insanely grindy, but generally if given a set of quests for a whole week, you'd think it should take a bit longer to complete. The milestone quests are supposed to last the entire 2 - 3 months of the rift, and yet I'm about halfway done with most of them by day 3. Only 20 games combined across both sides, which is more than my usual in 2.5 days of playing, but there's a new chapter. Regardless, this sets it up so you only need to play, on average, one game every 1.5 - 2 days to complete all of these challenges.

The quest system also doesn't have the same charm as the Daily Rituals and Archives. Both of those incentivized using different characters or perks that you don't normally use and gave a good reward for doing so, but these new quests are just super basic auto completion objectives with almost no reward to show for it. The daily quests give a measly 2.5k bp (only enough for 1 uncommon node in the Bloodweb) when the old daily rituals gave 30k or more, depending on the challenge. There were also the fun and unique challenges, such as random perks or glyphs, that are all just gone. And instead, we just have a free passive reward system that you don't even need to look at to complete.

TL;DR: New quests are too quick and passive, have too little rewards, and are overall just boring compared to the daily rituals and archives.
