Second hook state.
The feature of bleeding out on the hook completely renders the skill checks useless. I miss the days where you spam A (on Xbox) as hard as you could and gave survivors a chance to save you. Every time I play I bleed out even after spending all that time on skill checks. So literally what even is the point.

Skillcheck or button mashing, both of those are pretty pointless and should be deleted
Those mechanics only matters for those who suicide on hook

Kinda funny that they want to punish who suicide on hook, yet there are quite a few perks that are designed for you to try to jump off hook (slip meat).
Tbh, they should just rework those perks and remove the suicide on hook at all. No attemp to unhook (only with deli) and no skill checks on second stage.

If 2 people are dead, there are 5 gens left, and you get hooked, you should 100% be allowed to sacrifice yourself so your tm8 can (try to) get hatch.

You know back in those days I liked the button mashing and didn’t like that they were changing it to skill checks but here we are now so much time later and honestly the button mashing sounds so bad now in retrospect. It was a good change.

The button smashing was unpleasant and input device destroying at the same time. Plus frame drops could sacrifice you instantly. Better off this way, depending on whatever they plan for yeeting on hook.
