How do I get dead by daylight into my games library?

I’ve been playing dbd on xbox for years with gamepass.

The other day, I got The Casting Of Frank Stone, and when trying to claim the themed rewards in dbd, the behaviour website is telling me that dbd isn’t in my games library.

The only detail that may matter here is that I’ve always used xbox gamepass to play, but somebody that I spoke to was able to get them despite also playing with it as well. I do have my microsoft/xbox account linked to dbd.

Anyone know what to do here?

    I recall a friend having trouble with playstation as he got dbd for free from the psn plus account pass thing and since he technicly didnt buy the game, he can't play the game without a subscription to the plus account. So something about free game passes mess with ownership of the game. I Do recall the steps to redeem that stuff being rough even on steam
