SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Random disconnects = matchmaking bans

PLATFORM: XBOX

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

DBD servers have been especially terrible the last 2 days and still no fix. My internet connection is FINE, everything else plays FINE but I keep getting kicked randomly from their servers. Happened to me 5 or so times yesterday and got up to a 15 min matchmaking ban before it drove me off the game for the rest of the day. Played 3 or 4 games today so far and just got disconnected for the first time. I'm assuming it's their servers that are broken but they haven't said they're fixing anything. Before the last 2 days I maybe got disconnected once a day, if that (been playing every day for the last few months with no issues). Maybe it's PC hackers kicking me somehow? Either way it's completely ridiculous that I can't play a game I've paid for. It makes zero sense that I get a ban from disconnecting when my connection is good and the problem is entirely on their end. Either they can't tell the difference between someone quitting a game and getting disconnected from the servers, or they simply don't care about the people it happens to. I never quit matches so the first time I got an actual ban was yesterday after disconnecting a few times throughout the day… I didn't even know that was possible. Hopefully they will fix their server issues or at the very least stop banning the people this happens to from playing the game. Resetting everything will NOT help, I've wasted enough of my time trying to fix this, it's clearly not a hardware issue on my end, the problem is on theirs. Please fix this (or stop banning me from matchmaking), I just want to play. 😭

    I am on PlayStation, but yes I am having the same issues! I am up to a 3 day penalty because I continually get disconnected!

    Yeah it's a huge problem but I have yet to see anyone addressing it. I've never disconnected so much like I have these past 3 days, it's ridiculous. I just played my third game of the day and got disconnected for the first time and received a 15 min matchmaking ban, like ######### is going on??? How can they do that, it's honestly making the game unplayable. I really hope they fix their server issues soon. I was hoping it would be fixed with the update but nope! My internet connection is NOT the issue here and it seems as though there's literally nothing we can do but wait and hope they fix it. I was really hoping to play some 2v8 too, it sucks. 😔
