Patch 8.7.1 game does not start on SteamDeck

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: After patch game cannot be runned at steamdeck.

PLATFORM: Steam / Steamdeck

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: After patch game cannot be opened, after anti cheat logo game crash and back to play button. Tried to reset, uninstall and install again and nothing. Same account but on PC work normally. Also before patch I played on Deck without any problems.

    I think they broke Reshade support on Linux and reinstalling the game doesn't fix it, you have to manually remove "dxgi.dll" in the steamapps/common/Dead by Daylight/DeadByDaylight/Binaries/Win64 folder, you might wanna go into desktop mode, open Steam and browse local files on DBD, go to DeadByDaylight/Binaries/Win64 and delete the .dll there. That fixed it for me at least.

    Hello! This would be helpful for the team if you're able to get the Steam Deck logs:

    For this process, you will need to boot the Steam Deck into desktop mode. Surprise, it also functions as a computer!

    Important input tools for desktop mode for the "Mouse"
    Right Trigger > Right Click
    Left Trigger > Left Click
    Right joystick > Move the mouse
    X Button > Brings up the keyboard
    B Button > Closes the keyboard

    First and foremost, close the game.

    1. Press the "Steam" button on the Steam Deck
    2. Navigate to the Power Menu and press A
    3. Navigate to "Switch to Desktop" and press A
    4. You will be booted into the Steam deck's computer mode
    5. In desktop mode, boot the Steam app
    6. Go to Library > Dead By Daylight and left click for "Properties"
    7. Click "Browse Files". You will be taken to the Dead By Daylight folder
    8. In the submenues at the top of the file browser, you will see "Steamapps". Right click on that
    9. Go to the Compdata folder> 381210 > PFX >drive_C > users > steamuser > AppData > Local > DeadByDaylight > Saved > Logs
    10. You will find logs here

    In order to get the logs uploaded, you will need copy and paste the logs to the desktop.

    1. To do this, hold the left trigger (left click) use the right track pad to highlight the file(s) needed.
    2. Press the right trigger (right click) and hit copy
    3. Go to the desktop and paste the logs there

    Next is getting the logs to yourself. This can be done using the Firefox browser found on the Taskbar by uploading them to OneDrive.

    To exit desktop mode, simply close out all of the windows and you will see "Return to Game Mode". You will be brought back to beautiful SteamOS.

    I was able to make the game work by uninstalling Reshade and then launching
