2v8 Ghostie buff - I feel one partial element of the Night Shroud move speed buff should be basekit
I'd like to see ghostie having a basekit movement speed buff while in night shroud and while he's not in chase.
One of ghostie's biggest problems is his major lack of map mobility. He can't afford to travel to far gens, so this effectively forces poor ghostie to focus more in the center of the map. This generally can cause the 8 regression limit to trigger far more often, especially with surge in play, even if a 3 gen isn't being held. He can't afford to run 500 miles to the edge of the map to check those gens, and survivors know it - leaving those far gens to be done last. This means survivors primarily focus the center of map. This means ghostie ends up having nowhere to be BUT the center of the map which means those gens tend to get damaged often, and if those center gens are completed, ghostie has little options considering the remaining gens are extremely spread apart. If he had a innate faster movement speed when in night shroud and not being in chase, this would allow him to better spread his legs a bit and get around the map as a whole. This would also make him less compelled to protect gens close to each other since he could viably patrol further out gens, as well.
This would make the match more interesting, as well, considering the action can be anywhere instead of primarily in the middle. However, to avoid him being able to use this movement speed buff in chase, simply have the bonus movement speed disable during chase. This would essentially keep this movement speed for travel only and not for chases.
Edit - typo fixin'

U have my approval.

I would like that. I also want the Fearmonger class from 2 vs 8 as perk, where you get 5 haste when nobody is looking at you.

Any kind of speed would help. I thought about the whole not looking thing originally, though I figured that would just encourage everyone to look at him more often, especially in chase. It'd be harder to pull off surprise stalking if there is a reason to stare him down even when he isnt in Night Shroud.
Regardless, he needs some sort of way to get around the map faster and that would help it, too.

Agreed, ghost face was a pretty decent killer but 2v8 butchers him, they should also remove the ability for downed or caged/hooked Survivors from pushing ghost out of his shroud, it doesn't feel fair that they can do that while ghost can't do anything to avoid it when forced into situations that its unavoidable (which is most of the time)

P100 Ghost Face here: Ghost Face is one of the weakest killers in DBD and yet he was nerfed in 8VS2 mode YES! He is worse in 8VS2 than 4vs1, he needs to recover the cooldown a little faster and the speed to expose the survi too and most importantly this Addon has to be Base 10% / Semi-Base 5% in 4vs1 as 8vs2

Only to clarify because I think I chose my words poorly. I want the not looking thing as a killer perk one day with 5 % haste.

Oooo as a perk. Interesting idea. My only concern is it being used on killers who already have ways to travel fast, but then again, I suppose those killers would likely simply not use that perk in leui for another perk.
Im all for options. Im curious how people would use such a perk.

They need to stop with the semi basekit buffs and just make things for him fully basekit. Why? He typically needs a lot of the addon powers to be more viable, and the problem is that with partially basekit, you end up still being weaker than what the original addon was. This means you end up still having to equip the addon anyway to maintain the old power boost you'd get running the addons pre-partial basekit.

I really hate making stuff partially basekit. Whenever they do this we have so underwhelming addons, that aren‘t worth running anymore and the basekit is still not good enough.

It would be a good chase perk, very good for stealth killers that are typically not seen much and good gor traversing the map with slower killers.

I honestly think this addon is overrated. I don‘t find it that useful when playing him, but it wouldn‘t hurt making it basekit.

Exactly, one reason to put it as a base kit
