A legacy too good to disappear
The archive is threatened with disappearance, but are there any plans for the collection to be housed anywhere?
The localized readings, illustrations, etc. are very useful for a deeper understanding of the world of Dead by Daylight, and it would be a shame to see them disappear.

Yes, there will apparently be a unique Tomes button in future where all the current lore from the Tomes should be moved to and future lore will be placed. We don't have any details on how that system is going to work yet.

I feel like the Compendium should stay. The old challenges should stay.
The lore should also stay.

Yeah, I did catch that. Hope that it will be soon.
I just want the old challenges to stay in the game.

Same. The challenges should stick around forever.
The Compendium is the closest thing the game has to a story mode: pathways of (sometimes themed) challenges with rewards. If it's not attached to the Rift, BHVR can update it less often and focus on characters and lore, quality of quantity. It's an important part of the game, it's a large amount of content for new players to work through to keep them interested in playing. Getting rid of something that provides a rewarding experience for players that they can do at their own pace would be a mistake.
