Idk, maybe it is just me, but idk why should I try to throw the game for a playstyle I don't play, just to get 10K and 75 fragments? It is not even a milestone, but rift pass quest..
Not like it is already hard enough to blind the killer but now I have to do it while they carry survivor.. Or being forced to play killer..
I understand that streamers and content creators live inside your game and have time get to the end of the rift easily, but normal ppl have jobs, I don't have 8hrs a day to sit and play.
Not to mention that the overhaul of the tomes were supposed to be for making it less game invasive aka not forcing certain gameplay..

I feel the same way about some other quests, but I figured I'd just not focus on them.
If I get a grab while playing Killer, great, but I'm not gonna focus on trying to get it. That way I have more fun.

Just to offer so help:
Got this accidently playing Ghost Face, Clown with PWYF is also good for this one usually, or ofc T1 Myers.
Blinding does also count with regards to blinding while the killer is hooking if BGP and all else fails.

This isn't a hard one to get as Killer assuming you just want to get it over with and don't care about winning the match.
Killer Option #1:
Find a Survivor and signal that you are friendly by nodding at them and hitting a generator with your basic attack so they get on the generator. Then interrupt them by grabbing them off it. Your challenge is now complete.
Killer Option #2
If the Survivors are still afraid of you and just keep running away, you'll have to down one of them.
Instead of taking them to a hook, bring them to a gen and drop them slugged by it.
Then, hit the gen a few times to get the point across, pick them up and let them wiggle off. Hopefully they will get on it and you can grab them.
If you're not playing a hated Killer such as Blight, you're going to find at least 1 of the 4 will understand and cooperate.
This is how I did this challenge and a couple old tome challenges that required the same thing.

I don't use flashlights as I feel they are too annoying and I don't like running around and not doing anything.. I would rather get chased. I get that for most people it is easier, I had to go play killer to get it. All killers on my servers just play to win (nothing wrong with that) and trying to blind the killer while hooking also proved hard as they always hooked on hooks near walls and my timing was wrong xD Yes, I suck with flashlights.
The reward for it is the most sad part, tbh.
I posted it when I spent all day trying to get it, and was really annoyed.
I still think there could be better challenges or better rewards.
I prob shouldn't complain much, but yes, old tome challenges were way worse. LOL0 -
The only thing I'll agree with is that the rewards for this quest are too low, however I think it's ok to have more challenging quests such as this one, a lot of the other quests are already so easy and basically the equivalent of getting credit for writing your name on the test sheet. The quests are also secondary and not required to complete, as is "throwing a match".
This quest is to be completed as both killer or survivor, if you find flashlight saves too challenging you can try grabbing a survivor as killer. I won't sit here and tell you it's super-easy but to say you'll need 8 hours a day to be able to complete this quest is going way overboard.
