If no ping limit, please show if killer ping is red in lobby
I am so fed up of killers from other regions exploiting ping to gain an obvious advantage.
200-300ms or more is just plain unfair, no way to know what is going to hit or not and they are very obviously exploiting this unfairness to their advantage.

Yeah I'd like to just see the red ping indicator like it shows for survivors in lobby, it's only fair.

Yeah I am sick of going into a match and the killer is playing from literally the other side of the world from where I am and they have up to 300ms ping.
It is actually incredibly unfair and should not be allowed in the first place, but at least allow us to avoid this pointless experience

What if BHVR can add penalties to players having 200+ ping? It gets annoying when you're against a killer who has 200+ ping, and they still land hits although they shouldn't have been registered. Just gives an unfair advantage tbh as Killers are mainly the hosts...

Killers aren't hosts, they used to be in the early days as DBD was P2P and that was painful, as if the killer had terrible internet the entire lobby suffered and there was also a lot of lag switching to gain advantage.
The problem with going into matches as killer on dedicated servers is (unless I am very much mistaken) killer hits take priority, so if the server registers a killer hitting you, then you go down. Doesn't matter if on your screen they are 20 feet away from you or you're around a corner etc

@MaTtRoSiTy Oh really? I never knew that. Thought the Killers were always the host. I just hope BHVR will sort something out with players having an INSANE amount of ping. It's getting absurd as games after games I've played, were mostly killers with 200+ ping. And that is pretty bad if the killer is mainly favoured, yet not surprising either.

MaTiRoSiTy is correct in the days before dedicated servers the killer was the host. It's the same system still used in custom lobbies, what used to be KYF mode.
To OP they always are reluctant to add or re-add in things that guaranteed will lead to lobby dodging, as that worked up the matchmaking badly. It would be nice to have stronger and more numerous servers to best deal with this problem, but I get why players want to not play those high ping trials.

IDK if killer mcgee can investigate my steam page and ping, I should be able to see their ping. That or the entire lobby needs a rework, or ping needs to punish laggy killers.

Do you remember that early tournament, where the Nurse player lag switched the survivors, and proceeded to 4K, and still got awarded the win by the tournament organisers? Those were the good old days.

I do several creators put out vids commenting on it back then. The quality of the clips was poor from what I recall. Wild thing to see.

Two games in a row… Killer with nearly 300ms ping!!!
How is this even allowed?
Trying to outplay a killer with 300 ping is extremely difficult and getting hit 5 feet around a corner and from behind a killer is super frustrating and just plain unfair.
I get that some people are not near a server but to have 300ms ping, you have to be playing from almost the other side of the planet.
